Subject : Baby Sox is making himself known!

Last night I was laying in bed and Baby Sox was wiggeling and squiggeling so I put my had on my stomach and I felt a good thud and then again and again and again. DH was in the bath and so he missed out WhateeeEver!

I have just felt him again! Its so exciting. Happy

I'm only just starting to feel movements but can't wait til oh can feel them too. Our lo seems to go a bit mad if our cats lays his head on my tum and starts purring hehe oh thinks it means he doesn't like him having his head there but i keep putting him there on purpose cos i get to feel him move, maybe a little naughty :-( xx

Lemonslice I think they get a fright when you shout over to OH that is why they stop

Its really weird, i can't wait til we can see movement from the outside not to show oh but to show my cat lol. his a sensitive little thing and doesn't like change so looking forward to seeing his reaction.

Reading that back it sounds very strange and i prob won't tell oh i'm more excited about showing my kitty hehe.

has your cat become more "protective" of you, or as I call it more "mummy fussed"

Both my boys have, they wont leave me alone and always need to be sitting on my lap

lol his always been like that everytime i sit down he climbs on for a cuddle, the only thing he has started doing since becoming pg is sleep with me every night either right on top of me or sharing my big body pillow, prob cos i let him atm, feeling sad about having to lock him downstairs when the baby comes along but i really think he would climb in the moses basket to cuddle the baby too! xx

We're picking up our little Princess (dog) tonight from Wales as my parents looked after her whilst we were away. I noticed she was very clingy before we left, someone said they can 'smell' pregnancy hormones.

Aww I love it! I have been feeling proper kicks since last Sunday (20+3) and the first time it happened dh was sitting next to me so saw my tummy move. He has missed it from then on though! x

My Mum's cat normally won't go anywhere near me (think he resents the fact I bring Rhys round and he spends the whole time tormenting him ha ha) but since being pg the cat won't leave me alone and even willing lets Rhys play with him rather than move off me ha ha.

I have to agree it is such a lovely feeling. Although my DH still hasn't felt baby move, I am 24 weeks today. But he has sat there and watched my belly suddenly pop out this way and that, so hubby is quite satisfied for now.
