Subject : We had 'the chat' last night!!!
Ooooh girlies! My time is coming too :-) Just wanted to share this with you all ...
Last night hubs and I were saying that although there is stuff to do on the house, money to pay off etc, we both really do want a baby so I will go off the pill in 10 weeks time! We realise that it may happen quickly (in which case we'll just have to figure it out as we go along) or it may take a while (in which case we'll be saving as much as we can) but that at the end of the day, we don't want to wait any longer as I am already 31 and have been on the pill for at least 7 years now.
Hubby said that whilst it will probably by no means be easy, the thought of having our baby crawling around the lounge is a benefit that far outweighs the negative.
OMG! I can't believe we actually had the talk - I feel like a real grown up now :-) LOL
Has anyone else got a similar story? or any comments and advice welcome too!!
S xx

Our story is really me talking about babies forever and a day, then after really finding out about smp etc.. and then sitting down with oh. I was in utter shock when he said he'd thought about it too and was just waiting for me to bring it up again!!
Ten weeks isnt long at all!! Im a bit further away, but im sure it'll creep up on me!!

Hi Susiee so excited for you hun and you too MFS!
I was so excited to see the post we had the chat last nite lol, we talked last week and decided to bring ttc forward a few weeks to Dec instead of xmas but hubby has just been laid off but complicated but he is self employed so basically he doesnt want to start trying now he has come out of work and has no sign of work until mid Jan.
Am so frustrated at this because we have been together 8 year on 9 Nov and married nearly 6 month, granted we havent done alot with our lives so far but am married, have our own house and want a baby!! I get jealous when i see other people with babies and prams and think to myself why cant that be me! I am a ticking time bomb lol!!
Anyway sorry didnt mean to gate crash was just venting, we are still going out for our anniversary meal as planned as think we need to let off a bit of steam xx

Sparkling Diamond: You can't say you have not done a lot with you life! Don't compare your life with anyone elses! Just because some is wealthy enough to travel round the world does not mean they have 'done' more than you ! Personally i think sustaining a healthy relationship, having your own house and starting a family are the most difficult but rewarding things anyone can EVER do!! So you have already done loads with your life!
Anyway back to the post. My news is sort of linked! I took my last pill last night (Fri) and am now just waiting for withdrawal bleed. Although we can't start trying until june because of job stuff but will be able to start tracking my cycle finally. I feel as if I am on the way. Only 7 months to go!

SD - I couldn't agree more with MrsMel - what you have done with your life is have a stable, happy relationship - that is the greatest achievement there is! I know far too many people who have high flying jobs, are rolling in money etc but have absolutely no marital relationship whatsoever so you go girl! You're doing brilliantly!
Sorry to hear about your hubby. I understand your frustration but I am sure it will all be ok in the end!!!
Hugs
xx

Thanks Susiee am just on a bit of a downer at the moment because it seems that every time we make plans they get screwed up.
I have been with hubby 8 years today :-) he has always been self employed but its only been the last 2 years or so since we got the house that we have struggled, struggled to get a house, struggled to get married and now it seems I find myself doubting whether I want to struggle to bring a life into this world?? Who can blame me for feeling this way, I have bills coming in and no money to pay them, we are in a bad way at the moment, xmas is around the corner and my baby PMA has flew right out of the window!
Hope you are well hun, good to hear you are going to start trying early new year you must be excited xx
