Subject : Making bottles - Aptamil

I'm g/c from pregnancy but would love your advice.

If I need to bottle feed, then I'm thinking of using Aptamil. From reading posts on here it seems that you can put boiled water into sterile bottles, leave them on the side and just add the powder when LO is ready for a feed.

However I did read that aptamil doesn't disolve in cooled water and wonder if anyone has any experience of making bottles with Aptamil, in this way. Would appreciate any advice, thanks xx

Hi Lawso,
Just wanted to say that I never had a preoblem adding the powder to cooled water, infact my son preferred his bottles cool so used to make his bottles with cooled water more often than not. Just make sure you shake well before feed,

Hope I could be of some help:-)

Yeah just shake them well! My lo will only have anything at room temperature! It does mix slightly better in warmer water, but still mixes fine in cooled water!
