Thanks girls....

I am petrified rather than excited as im so worried its going to be anothrt mmc but if theres a heartbeat i will feel much better as i will be past point of when my last little beam stopped growing...

I have felt awful and been being sick unlike last time but as thats what i associate with early scans im so paranoid but hopefully all will be well and i'll see my baby measuring correct size and with a good heartbeat,,,,its at 9am so least i dont have much hanging about....

good Luck girlies i hope we all get good news!

Hi to everyone,

We have one baby on board in the right place with a heart beat and measuring 7 +6. Going from egg collection I'm 7 +4 so dates seem to tally.

Finally feeling like I'm going to be mummy feeling very grateful I have no symptoms whatsoever. My sympathys to everyone else suffering.

Hubby's pretty ecstatic as EDD 21st June in time for World cup!

Lauz41 so happy your scan went well

So pleased for you Mrs Pootle...

im trying to relax after yesterday but now im worrying about next scan in 2 weeks as it was the original appointment i made and now thinking it may be a bad omen as if i wouldnt have changed anything and it was bad news i wouldnt have been any wiser argh!

Its so hard but im determined to keep the PMA up this little bean will be fine!

Im still having nausea throughout the day, was a little sick twice yesterday (Pumpkin obviously doesnt like strawberry ice cream as much as i did lol) but not everyday and boobs not really sore now but everything looked as good as could be expected yesterday so i just keep thinkking on that and looking at my little picture - i am so in love and praying this baby holds on and i get to meet them!

Good Luck

Laura xx

P.s Any updates from Titchie and Sara? Hope all went well with them too....

Hi Laura,

So sorry I wasn't aware fully of your previous history. Did you have an early scan last time?

One of my cycle buddies has had 4 courses of IVF/ICSI and had a positive pregnancy every time then miscarried at exactly 6 weeks. She did say if you get to 7 or 8 weeks and there's a heart beat the risk of miscarriage drops significantly. Unfortunately she was never able to see a heart beat :( for hers. I'm going to have extra PMA for you and together we'll get to our 12 week scan :)

Vnurse I joined quite late and sorry but not seen any of your previous posts. It's great to have another buddy is this your first? It's just you joined years ago!!!

I've now been discharged from our fertility clinic back to our GP so hoping to get a 12 week scan the week of the 7th. I'm also hoping they'll do the neuchal fold and triple blood test as I'm the oldest June mummy to be!!!!

Hope you had fab weekends

Alison xxxx

Thanks alison,

My history is that i had a mmc with my first pregnancy in March - i had an early scan due to spotting over about 8 days from when i got my BFP i was 6+4 and had a heartbeat but 2 weeks later at 8+6 i was told bean had stopped growing at 7+2.

On Friday i was 7+6 but bean measured a few days ahead and a heartbeat at 8 weeks apparantly gives you a 96% chance of a successful pregnancy as opposed to 76% at 6 weeks....

I am being sick, have lots of nausea and peeing lots and boobs quite sensiitve and sore on/off - last time i had none of this so i made it almost a week past when i had my mmc and im glad i moved scan forward - epu told me when i got a BFP again to phone for a scan so i did but i originally made it 20th November as i thought 10 weeks gave me a good shot of getting to 12, and i also wanted past Friday 13th as thats when i found out about my mmc....then i had a tiny bit of spotting when wiping a few times so brought it forward and im glad i did as i would have been panicking these 2 weeks anyway so least i know im in with a good shot now and it boosted my PMA...

Now im back to worrying though and cant help being paranoid that if its bad news i wouldnt have been any wiser had i not changed my scan date which i know is silly as what will be will be...i just hope the next 2 weeks fly in and that alls well again....

Anyway here's to us and reaching 12 weeks i have my booking in on Thursday (which im hoping isnt temping fate and that i do need a 12 week scan)

Its so scary espec after losing last litle bean but i have a better feeling this time and feel awful so im hoping its all good and positive...

I just hope the next 10 days go quickly!!!

Good Luck to you too - it sounds like you really deserve this bean after what you have gone through to get to here...

Laura xx
