Subject : Highchairs before 6 months??

More posts from me!!

Have just been talking to oh about starting weaning lo and I said we needed to get a highchair as I find it hard to give her anything while on my lap.
He started saying that they don't rec them before 6 months which I know, but I have seen a few that say from birth.
But to be honest, I would be happy to just go and get one anyway, as if she looks like she's not ready for it, or slides over etc in it I will just wait a little bit before using it.

For those who are weaning before 6 months do you use a highchair?

Any idea how much I should spend on one? I want either a neautral one or a blue one so if we have a boy then he wont feel 'girly' using it!!

Thanks ladies xx

I have the chicco polly magic which we have used from birth as there is 3 different stages. I cant remember the price but think it was quite expensive. I would recommend it though. Lo loves sleeping in it when she was born and as i have cats it was great to keep her up out of their way.

You've seen mine, F is fine sitting in it although he hasn't sat in it for long periods as we haven't started weaning yet. Was pricey though at £200 but I love it so it was worth it! I think one that can be used at the table without a tray is great for when they are a bt older and you want to eat all together.
PS keep meaning to ask if you've got your jumperoo yet?

I am just sitting Finn on my knee at the moment but think I will try him in his swing. Will get a high chair when he is eating a bit more than a few spoons a day x x
