Hi Jackie

You are right, we are not as chatty. Maybe sometimes because of our situations not everyone feels like talking. I do log on most days but don't always have anything new to say.

I'm on day 3 now after the dreaded AF arrived and I felt I had failed again, 3rd month of trying after losing our beautiful daughter. I have ordered another box of OV tests which I hope will arrive by day 12 when I need to start testing again!

Good luck this month!!

George, x

Hi George,
I know exactky what you mean, sometimes I want to hide away and cry for days (although not possible with a 9yr old). But now we're officially TTC i want to shout it from the rooftops, although i'm not and if / when i do get pg again i probably won't tell anyone until i'm about to drop!!

I read your post, i'm sorry AF turned up this month, but i have every confidence that all of us ladies will be soon sharing happy news on here. I'm on day 12 of my cycle and no sign of OV'ing yet, not sure it's going to happen this month but fingers crossed.

Keep me posted on how you get on xx

Thanks for the confidence boost! I also can't hide away and cry with a 22 month old! He is a great distraction but sometimes I feel I don't have time to grieve.

Are you using the Clearblue digital tests? If so I hope you get a smiley face soon!!

Hi, we're definitely not as chatty but I guess like you've both said- someday it takes a lot of effort just to get through it, so I think we all end up too exhausted to chat. I've also got a 23mth old and he's certainly been my reason for any 'get up n go' in me.
We're ok although been messed around brilliantly by the consultant whom I will be lucky to see before the new year as apparently results won't be through for another 6 weeks! Feel so let down by it all, but I've been told all my bloods came back normal which in theory would mean any future pregancy is low risk so........ The only way oh and I are going to move fwd is if we now act like we decided against autopsy and just carry on. We're ttc but without ov testing etc, I am obsessed with getting pregnant again, I'm also aware the longer we leave it the larger the age gap, and ttc was very long the last 2 times.
Really hopng to get a bfp asap, think I've already ov'd this month so fingers crossed af doesn't want to visit but if I'm honest I'm expecting her to be here with bells on :)
might try ov tests later if still not pregnant by Christmas but don't know if it would make it easier or harder mentally. Also hubby already moaning he feels I only want him for his baby making power now so goodness knows what he'd be lke if I got all timetabled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tsk! Lol
wishing us all lots of bfp and happiness x

ps I'm also intending to not tell anyone except my mum if Im lucky enough to get a bfp and everyone else can wait til I pop or my 'putting on weight' is no longer a cunning undercover disguise :)

Hi George, I know what you mean about not having time to grieve, I went back to work 3 weeks ago and haven't had time to think about it, it's 7 weeks tomorrow that I lost Ewan. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I find my self having a little cry on OH's shoulder occasionally, usually in the kitchen when we're making dinner (don't know why) or when we go to bed (I talk for England when he's trying to sleep!!). But it is getting easier and it helps to have the TTC to concentrate on. I've not used the clearblue fertility monitor, i've only just figured out what the initials CBFM stood fror!! I've just been using "one step ovulation strips". They only cost about £5.50 for 40 of them, i know they're cheap but I was trying for 18 months with Ewan and I fell pg the first time i tried these, so i'm giving them another go. If they're useless i might cave in buy the CBFM.

Waiting for Baby - It must be so frustrating waiting to see the consultant, I've been trying to figure out why you need to see them, but now i guess it's to get the post mortem results?? Like i said in another chat, i've not been asked to see a consultant which i find strange now that i see that so many others are waiting to see theirs too? We had a post mortem done with Ewan, but they advised us it could take up to 4 months, and even then there may not be any results. But like you we've had the blood results back and everything is fine. It gives you mixed emotions, relief that nothings wrong so you can try again, but angry that your baby died for no apparent reason!! As for your hubby moaning, I just tell my OH i only want him for his sperm, he knows i'm joking, I love the way you describe your hubby as having "baby making power", makes him sound like one of the x-men!!

Anyway, i'm rabbiting on as usual (OH is working nights so i'm having my night time chat with you ladies!)

Wishing you both all the luck in the world + more, fingers crossed for those BFP's, if we don't get them this month then we'll keep on going til we do!!

Be positive xx

Hi. Waiting4baby, although your OH may think he is only wanted for his baby making power, let's face it most men want sex. Using the OV tests ensures that you have it at the right time but OH may be reassured by recent news article which states, "Having sex every day improves sperm quality and could boost the chances of getting pregnant, research suggests."

We got pregnant first month using OV tests with my son after almost a year trying! Unfortunately this timewe have already used them for 2 months without success. Maybe this month? I do recommend the CB ones. I did not like the non digital as I found it hard to determine whether I was OV or not, the CB digital gives you a smiley face when it's the right time which could not be clearer!!

Oh yes dotty he has a cape and everything lol..... Now for a super hero name? Hmmmmmm .......
I had been told 12 weeks for pm results but should be here in 6 as it's more to do with mums bring mire emotionally ready BUT now think that's rubbish so maybe you were given more accurate info, I wasn't actually contacted by consultant, I phoned and asked for a date to be confirmed, so perhaps you'll just get a letter. I'm now waiting but will pester around December/jan time.
I loved the digital preg tests so I think a smiley face sounds like the right one should I not strike lucky by Christmas I think I'll be investing in them, only problem is making hubby abide by the rules of a smiley face stick lol!
It's so hard isn't it, my head is all over the place about how I 'should' be feeling
good luck everyone
