Subject : Calpol for Colic

Hi

Just been to see the Dr as my little man (8 weeks Sat) just won't settle and has been having screaming fits on and off all day since Sunday. And straining etc. Anyway the dr has said oh its colic, give him calpol for the next 2 days and then when he looks like he is in pain! Never heard of this before. Has anyone else been told the same?

xx

My Doctor said to give Abby calpol for colic too - but I didn't trust him as he said to give her 120ml of calpol (should have been 120mg of paracetamol - which is 5ml of calpol!) Thankfully I realised that a whole bottle of calpol was far too much - so I double checked, but it is quite scary - what if I had just done what he said!? xxx
