Subject : Screaming during nappy change

My dh is now 5 wks and he still SCREAMS when I change him. I would have thought he would be getting used to it by now!

Should I be worried ?

My boy is 4 weeks tomorrow and he cries every change to hun, I try and distract him with a dummy or chatting (which sometimes work) I managed to confuse him with gently blowing on his face but thats not working anymore!!

I try and keep his clothes on as much as I can as I think its being exposed and a bit cold that he hates. I'm also getting a lot faster at changing to limit the crying xxx

My little lady cries when I change her too - especially when I'm getting her undressed bless her. I actually sing to her and also tell her what I'm doing lol. She looks at me rather strangely lol but it seems to work and quitens get down. I just try and do it as quickly as I possibly can which I'm sure you'll do too!
These babies just don't like being exposed x

LOL - your DH wears a nappy! He he he! (take it you mean DS?) Happy

Abby hated it at that age too - she just grew out of it, and now she loves rolling round on the floor with no nappy on. Just try not to get too stressed when he cries - because that will make him more upset! xxx

Evening Ladies,

Yep- Ollie literally SCREAMS his head off at nappy time... actually it's not just limited to nappy changing, it's more or less whenever he's on his back! He got stuck when he was being born so came out with a massive bruise on his head which is why he hated it at first but now I just think he's being a tinker! xxx
