Hi!!

So sorry for the silence. I've been trying to keep busy and haven't been on in ages!

I can't remember how much I said last time but we're just at the end of our 2nd IVF 2ww now. Official test date is tomorrow and we've been really good and not tested yet. Treatment was a little fraught. We were so hoping for a better result than last time (6 eggs, 2 fetilised) but this time we got 5 eggs and even using ICSI we still only got two fertilised. Waiting to hear if those two had survived over night for our embryo transfer was awful but when we went in we were told both were 4 cells and grade 1 so as good as they could have been for day 2. We would so love to have had lots move and gone to day 5 blasts, but the embyologists said the best place for them was back with me and it was lovely to be PUPO so fast.

I rested loads for the first 4 or 5 days, just had accupuncture but otherwise stayed on the sofa. 2ww was then driving me mad so DH and I went to London for a few days last week to take or minds off things and had a wonderful time.

Testing tomorrow and honestly have no idea what to expect. I swing between hope and despair. Convinced there's no reason why it wouldn't work and then sure it won't have done and we'll never have our own children. We're so desperate for it to work. DH has been giving me 2 extra kisses for our little embryos every day and I hope so hard they've hung on and will stay with us for 9 months.

Anyway, that's quite enough of an update from me! Please can I just ask that you all keep your fingers and toes crossed for us and I'll let you know how we get on.

And on to you!! How are all you lovely LTTTC girls? What have I missed?
