Subject : Sleeping too long, should I be worried?

Allannah is 8 weeks and last night she slept very soundly through the night. This has never happened before and we didn't think it was possible anytime soon as she usually doesn't sleep at night and hates her cot.
I woke her and fed her 6oz at 7:30. She went straight back to sleep. She woke up herself at 10:30 and took another 2oz, but now again very much asleep.
She usually sleeps this time (her 'night time' is usually 5am to about 12), but I thought since she went to sleep about 11pm she would be wide awake. She doesn't have a fever or seem to be in any pain or discomfort.

The only reason I have called my dr yet is he is very hard to get over the phone.. thought I would ask you girls first. Dh thinks I'm worrying for nothing.

hi, i wouldnt worry too much hun, all babies r different- maybe she is having a growth spurt and needs extra sleep or she is just getting herself into a routine. my lo still sleeps quite a bit now.
as long as she seems ok in herself then i wouldnt worry too much.
has she had any jabs lately, as they can make her sleepy too. xxx
