You may remember when i posted a topic a few weeks ago about my friend who has been trying to conceive for 1 year now. Still no joy, what tests can she get done?????

Has she visited her GP? I think they tend to test his swimmers first

Yep, she needs to visit her GP. I would imagine the first thing they will do is take her 21 day bloods to check she is ovulating, after that they can test her partners sperm to check all is ok with him.

Has she actually been properly trying, i.e. tracking her cycles so she knows when she is ovulating? One of the most common issues is that people are not having sex at the right times of the month... If she hasn't I would suggest she gets herself a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor and uses that for a few months before seeing GP, loads of the ladies on here swear by them.

She hasn't visited her Gp no, i keep convincing her but she's to scared. she had a suction last year in November 08 and has been regretting it so bad that her and partner decided to have a baby this year in Jan....so they hav been trying for well not long enough. What tests are usually done in these cases. She keeps asking because she has been pregnant before and now that she had the termination, will she get pregnant again or never and i just don;t know what to say.

Maby she should see a doc. If she regrets having an abortion then y have one 2 months before ttc !
