Subject : God bless Calpol!!
After having a grizzly clingy baby after her jabs yesterday I gave her a bit of calpol last night, within half an hour she was smiling and cooing at me like nothing had happened!!
Plus, she also slept from 11.30pm to 9am with a little feed at 4.30am - for those of you who know about Tilly's night owl antics this really is a mammoth improvement!!
Will have to hide it though - my sister is coming round and she loves the stuff
Pointless post really, just dead chuffed after having a fab sleep!
Lulu & Tilly (8 weeks 1 day already!)

Wow - go Tilly! You'll have to resist the urge to give her Calpol every night! lol
Bet you feel like you've had a weeks holiday after than sleep.
Beth's got her jabs tomor. I will have the Calpol on standby...

Hi Lulu,
was just about to post about jabs-how was she afterwards and at the time?
We have Islas this afternoon and Im dreading it :-(
A friend told me to give her calpol about half an hour beforehand do you think it might be worth me doing this? Also did they give Tillys both at the same time or one after the other?
I was meant to be taking her in this morning at 10.20am but they called at 9 and said that one of the nurses is off sick so they only had one which meant ding them one after the other. They gave me the option of coming in this pm instead when there'll be 2 nurses on so I opted for that....x

There were 2 nurses when we went in but they still did one after the other.
To be completely honest it broke my heart to hear her scream when the second needle went in BUT she had stopped crying before we had even got her dressed again. I think it's worse for mums than the babies, they get over it very quickly!!
She slept most of yesterday and cried when she woke so I fed her whenever she was awake (not a lot) by 10pm I brought the calpol out and she was absolutely fine.
Not sure about giving it beforehand though as I didn't think of that!
You and Isla will be fine I promise :)
Baby B - I really do feel like it's been a week holiday! When she cried in the night for a feed and I looked at my clock I scooped her up and gave her a big kiss for sleeping all that time!
Hopefully her body clock might be back on some sort of even keel now but not holding my breath!
