Subject : Who still have bubs in their room with them?

Hi ladies,

Our plan all along was to keep lo inwith us until she is 6 mths old, but quite often when oh comes to kiss me goodbye for work in th morning she will wake up just as he leaves, and this morning he left at 4.50am and she woke up just as he left.

So, although I really really don't want to move her out yet, I wonder if she will sleep fo rlonger in the mornings.

Anyone else found something similar?
xx

Yes! OH's snoring was disturbing the girls any time from 4am when they were with us. I think they start to go into a light sleep at this time. Since we moved them out, they never wake before 6am and often sleep till 6.30/7am.
We did intend to keep them in with us until 6 months but once they'd both outgrown their moses baskets, there was nothing that would fit in our room for them to sleep in as their cot beds are huge! xx

We still have William in with us but only because we have a 1 bedroom house. I would definitely move him in to his own room now if I could. When he is awake just happily chatting away it keeps me awake. Also he sucks on his fingers which is soooo loud. I am sure we disturb him too as our bed makes noises when you move as it is broken. (Our new one will be delivered soon though.)

he is still in with us but i know he has to go into his own room soon as he can sit up and that means he has to go into his cot which won't fit in our room :(

he starts off the night in his own room so he doesn't wake up when we have a shower in our room, then hubby drags him in to our room when we go to bed.

he's just started sleeping through and i so know we'll have problems when he's in his cot - he likes to feel cosy!! xxx

Jed's been in his cot since he was 4 weeks so I moved in with him! We have a futon in his room which I made into my bed for a few months as my hubby doesn't deal with sleep deprivation very well. He started sleeping through most of the time at 10 weeks so I slipped out back into the marital bed. He snuffles so much in the night we have the monitor on low so it only picks up a cry. x

Georgia is still in with us. She grew out of her moses basket but her cot wouldn't fit in our room so we have put her in the travel cot for now. We will probably keep her in with us until xmas which is 6 months. I am sure she would be fine in her own room but I can't bear to let her go!!

I agree with T4BM that they go into light sleep in the early hours as if my husband goes to work early he usually disturbs her but yet you could crash around in the bedroom at our bed time and she doesn't notice a thing! Thankfully, my hubby only works 2 earlies in 10 so it's not too many. If it was more, I might have moved her already.

Finn has been in his cot since 5 weeks for the smae reason - if one of us got up for the loo/a drink/hubby to go to work, it would wake him up and that was that. Plus he is such a noisy sleeper at times he used to wake us up even when he was sound asleep! His room is just across the landing from us and we leave the doors ajar and have the monitor on xx
