Hiiii,

Well i am on CD8 on my CBFM and this is my first month using it. As you all know it asks you to POAS on CD6 for the first month (i think). Well i started to POAS Monday (AF had disappeared then, she always goes away 4-5 days after she arrived and then she will come back around 2 days later) which showed a "Low", Tuesday was CD7 and AF was still gone and it also showed a "Low". I expected AF back this morning as she had had her 2 day holiday and she was there when i woke up. So i POAS this morning and fell asleep while it was still in the CBFM. I woke up around 7 and took it out and i had got my first high!

Is this normal so early on? Also i have noticed on the test sticks a line shows up, is it like an OPK where, when i am at my peak, there will be 2 lines?

I am so confused as i didn't expect a high so early

Oh i forgot to add, since yesterday morning i have had pains in my left side (which i get just before OV) and i have been really hot (which i also get). I knew what the pains were but thought it was my body playing tricks because i couldn't OV this early - i know i haven't yet but it is usually a sign that it isn't far off!!!

Maybe all this time i have been BDing too late!!!

yes it is poss this early on. as it is your first month you could also get lots of highs before your peak. I've used mine for 2 cycles since my mc. the first one i had 1 high then peaked but this last one i had 10 highs before my peak. there is always 2 lines on the sticks as they test for LH and Oestrogen levels. one does each, dont try and attempt to read this by eye let the cbfm do it for you! thats what you paid for! you will always get 2 peaks (if you get one - not every one does espesh in the first month - this is nothing to worry about and doesn't mean your body isn't working!!! people on here have conceived and didn't get a peak!!!) and after those 2 peaks you get 1 high and then back to lows. xx

Thanks for that rocky_kiz. I am only getting one line on the test stick atm. I just meant do two lines come up when you hit your peak. I am worrying now as i only get one line and not two :(

I am pleased to know i am not abnormal now, i am so glad i have something like the CBFM to help me because i would never have thought i would have got a high this early!!! xx

I got high's from CD7 to, and then got my peak on CD18, like rocky_kiz said, it's fine.
