Subject : Swine flu injection
Just wondering how many of you have had/are going to have the swine flu injection... My doctor just rang me half an hour ago asking me to come down for it as im breastfeeding... Going to go in the morning to get it as im in my pj's now and not in the mood to get dressed and go out in the cold!!!
I know people are torn over to get it or not over here.... Whats the situation with it over there?

Not heard anything from docs hun even though I'm BFing. Not sure that I'd have it though as there seems to be so many risks. Really would be torn so hoping they dont offer it so I dont have to decide
Taking the burying my head in the sand route
I only know 1 person who's had it and there doesnt seem to be much of it round our way - prob coz South Yorkshire is so vile no one even wants to bring swine flu here!!!

I've not heard anything either, however, my best friend is 29 weeks pregnant and has been called for it. She asked her midwife what she thought and her mw said as a health professional she had to advise her to take it. As a woman and mother she wouldn't have it herself!
My dad has swine flu so I would think if we were going to get it we would have it already!

I think that I would have it if I got offered - offence is the best form of defence and all that..... its down to personal choice I guess.

Well,, i got it!!! Was fine getting it... didnt even feel it, easiest injection i've ever gotten - only now. im in agony!! My arm feels like its been punched over and over again its so sore! A couple of friends of mine had it last week and they told me their arm was sore and swollen and red for almost a week - great!!! It really is sore to lift it, dont know how im gonna hold Eden when feeding her if it gets any worse!!
Still im glad i got it!!!
