Subject : When do toddlers stop teething??
Hi girls ,
Macey was 2 on the 6th August and just recently she has been showing teething signs and had a high temp today and last night and her cheeks were so hot and red bless i was just wondering when they stop teething or get there final teeth or how many teeth they should have? I cant get anyway near her mouth to count teeth so its not a good souce for me to know she has all her teeth. xx

Hopefully soon ;-) My dd is 20.5 months and I've had enough of it too!
I read that the last of the molars typically come through between 24 and 30 months ... Macey falls into that category so maybe it's her molars?
Hang in there, I'm sure she's almost done!

hi, Shea was 2 on 28th September and he had his final tooth come through a week later, but he was an early bird with his first tooth at 3months!
he didn't suffer with his last like he did the others, no high temp etc but he had a raging temper and just wanted to bite everything!!!
they have 20 milk teeth in total, 10 on top and 10 on botton and the last two generally come through between 24months and 36 months
here's a link to a teething chart website
http://www.teething-babies.co.uk/teething-process/teething-chart.php
hope this helps

my daughter is 20 months and has just cut tooth number 18 i have to say these last 4 teeth are really giving my lo some grief and me lol.i have always kept track of what teeth are coming but you have to be quick .they should be the back molars so if you can push your finger right to the back you should be fairly safe ha ha ive got the knack of it now but my oh hasnt and he always gets bit lol x

Lily got all her 4 back teeth at nearly the same time and she was grumpy as hell with it. She was probably about 26 months I think when they came- she was older than 2 anyway. Hopefully it won't be long til Macey gets her last ones through.
I felt very guilty because I hadn't noticed Lily was getting more teeth, I thought she was just being grumpy and naughty. I only saw them coming when I brushed her teeth and she tipped her head back- so maybe you could do this with Macey, see if you can see anything. You could risk sticking your finger in but it depends whether she's a biter!
