Duvets

Zacky was a bit older when he had a pillow and douvet, think he was 14 mths. I just stopped putting his sleeping bag on and got a really cheep cot douvet and pillow from Dunelm, (and a nice cover for it as well. I just told him that i was changing his bedsheets, he watched me put the cover on downstairs and spent time playing with it. WHen he went to bed he loved it .

Problem now is that he has started fidgiting really bad at night. SO i put him to bed with out pulling the quilt over him, just do that when he has gone to sleep.

Duvets

Chloe didn't have hers until somewhere between 16-18mths, can't remember when! i got her a duvet from kiddicare and a pack of two pillows too. i got a wool duvet so it is warm for winter but cool enough to still be used in summer. she loves it!! she gets upset if you don't cover her over before leaving the room (for naps when she is fully clothed and the house is warm i wouldn't do it otherwise but the fuss she creates!!)

you can get them most places. i already had the pillow and duvet covers as bought them to go with other bedding for the nursery!
