Subject : Exercising whilst TTC

Hello,

I'm half way through the 2ww (grr!) and thought that going to the gym would be a good way of keeping my mind off things....apparently not! Is there anything that should be avoided just in case a tiny bean is in there trying to grab on?
What is everyone else doing? At this rate I'll have 2 weeks of going completely crazy at the gym and then two weeks doing absolutely nothing just in case!

Why can't you exercise in 2ww? Confused

I know you need to be careful, but you can't put your life on hold waiting for your BFP. I've started doing aquarobics just once a week as it's somthing that I want to do when I'm pregnant and as it's not a good idea to start exercising when pregnant so thought I'd start now

You can keeping fit is imperative both for your general well being and during pregnancy ready for labour. After you are pg then you will have to reduce impact exercise and abs work outs but you can still do things like cross trainer. You shouldn't start new exercises but you can continue anything you are already doing.

Thanks ladies - I'm very new to ttc so wasn't really sure if I would have to tone down my routine...it's just I do a lot of spinning and body combat so just using the machines for the past week and 1/2 instead felt like a massive change.xxx
