As of a few days ago me and OH decied that we would start ttc this month rather than waiting till end of dec/jan time. I'm on my 1st day of my period today, but in a couple fo weeks we will be going for it. I have a 30day cycyle roughly and fairly reg. Do you count 14 days from today or after your period? or something different? do you think we should get ovulation tests or wait a couple of months if we haven't concieved by then?, sorry not very good at all this.

It's from the first day of your period hun...the first day of af counts as cycle day 1. The 14 day ovulation rule is based on a 28 day cycle so you might ovulate slightly later- probably about cd 15/16. I would start bd'ing around cd 10/11 just to make sure and go on until around cycle day 17! Your going to be busy! Lol!

We're starting this month too- I'm due to ovulate any day now. We only practising this month
