Subject : crayon on walls???

well it seems i have a picasso in the making and daisy has chosen to display her art work all over my playroom walls!!!! she was stupidly left with her 6 year old cousin whilst we were in the lounge and he came in god love him to me to say daisy was drawing on the walls. i have to say it was funny cus she looked so innocent and after playing on an easel my mil bought her the day before who can blame her!!! But does any one know of any cleaning material you can use to get crayon off??? ortherwise ill have to repaint xx

I asked exactly the same question a few months ago when Shea decided to add some artwork to our kitchen walls!

I did get a lot of replies with obscure methods all of which none worked so I went to supermarket and bought those magic sponge things adn that worked a treat!! Mr Muscle do them x

oh no!we haven't had this yet (I always add the 'yet' as I know that sooner or later, we will experience what every other mum of a toddler experiences!) so I wish you the best of luck in sorting it out. It could be worse. My friend's lo went into her handbag one day and took out a block of Benefit foundation amd smeared that all over her cream linen sofa cushions, side and back. It didn't come out. x

I have to admit I still have crayon on my walls lol! And it's been there for over a year cos it won't come off. Thankfully it's in an obscure place, but I defo need to repaint it when I get a chance! Lily did it when she was about 14 months, Rob was 'watching' her but she managed to sneak a crayon past him and draw freely on the wall at bottom of stairs, and on the radiator!

Oh the joys of toddlers lol! Sorry, I've not been much help, just wanted you to know you're not the only one who's had their walls improved by a toddler!

i know this sounds silly but did you know you can get permanent marker off by going over it with whiteboard marker and then rubbing both off? just coever the marker in whiteboard pen, leave for a few seconds and then rub off. obviously cos you have painted over it wont work but for future reference!
