Subject : SA help please!

Hi girls,
Any advice would be welcome. DH's SA came back all good apart from motility. Only 23%. Is there anything we can do to help this?
He has stopped smoking since the first test and now takes vits daily - Wellman and Fish Oils. Anything else?
Thanks girls!

Hiya Mrs Dao. I think there is a lot of good stuff in the Wellman so combined with stopping smoking and maybe cutting down on alcohol if he drinks his next SA should improve. There is a list somewhere of a load of vits that are good for swimmers but I think Wellman is a good start

Hi Mrs Dao, sorry to hear about your hubbie's results. From what I know, motility is a pretty crucuial one, so I think you may well be recommended IVF with ICSI, but obviously I'm no medic!! It is a big blow finding out this kind of thing, so big hugs to you. I know how you feel hon. However, there have been some surprise BFPs on here with low motility, most recently Kayecee and there were some others a while back as well.

I recently started a thread about tips for improving sperm. In case you're not aware, the sperm take 3 months to mature, so any changes made now will not show up in the anaylysis for another 3 months.

Good luck hon xx

Hi My hubbys motility is only 16% he has started taking lots of vits, swapped to looser underwear, stopped baths and reduced alcohol intake. I also got some zestica lubricant as it is meant to help the sperms get to the right place!! Good luck remember it only takes 1!
