a rant! or i feel like i'm going to smack someone!

Basically in a nut shell - a girl i work with has never been sure whether she should've married her hubby last year and recently kicked him out to his mums to give her some space and to give him a kick up the bum to 'change'. (he still stays over some nights, sleep together, constantly call/text each other, still tells him she loves him) anyway she's been paranoid that she hasn't fallen pg the last 18 months cus she's never used protection they were just 'careful' before, so now they're having tests done. We all know it's not just luck and occasional BD that gets us these BFP's so she's really irritated me that she's gone for these tests as shes not really 'trying' yet there are other people out there who needs these more than her and the other thing is that if her marriage isn't really working and she's not sure why the hell is she trying to get pg????????? AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH, so sorry for the rant girls but i have to sit next to her EVERY day and it's getting harder and harder. :-( xxx

She sounds like an attention seeking drama queen - the attention from the wedding has died down, so she is having an early marriage crisis which isn't working out for her so now she wants another drama - a fertility drama! However if they have been having regular sex for 18 months (even if its not timed for ov) without protection maybe they do need to at least have initial tests?

Don't let it get to you Rocky, fertility testing is hard on any relationship let alone one thats in trouble, so if this is just about attention seeking I should think she will find something else to get worked up about very soon. You'll be too ill with morning sickness soon so care ;-)

Maybe she needs a pet? lol!

ha ha, i love it, thank fully the knives in work are all blunt butter ones!!! True L+N thing is though they dont have it regular - she doesn't much like sex??!!! Lol, it's sounds a bit crazy and jealous but figured if i didn't moan on here i'd say something to her and i don't want to fall out with someone i work with full time!!! xx

She does sound like an attention seeker, maybe she thinks having a baby will make there relationship better!!! Always better to have a rant on here & get it off your chest xxx

I agree totally with laujai - and always come on here for a rant if you need one, hearing someone get something off their chest always makes me feel better somehow!!!

ooh a ranting thread - I wanna join.

Had a client at work today who's 6months preg. She said to me she's never wanted any kids, it was unplanned and she's on her own now. and she's 38. she's wasn't sure what to do about the pg when she first found out. to be fair to her she's just paid for a sexing scan because she wants to feel more bonded to her baby (boy).

I just think it's so unfair how we all desperately want one, whereas she's having to get herself used to the idea of loving her baby when she's already that far along.

Oh well if she loves that baby half as much as she loves her pets that boy will have lovely life - LOL

ARG! That woman would do my head in! Have you thought about removing the screws from her office chair?
