Hi, I wonder if any body can offer any advice or is having a similar problem, my baby girl is 19 weeks and has gone from doing a five hour sleep at night progressively down to approximately an hour and a half, two hours at best, over the last few weeks. It has now got to the stage where I go to bed with her a six and she sleeps in the bed with me and my husband is sleeping on the couch downstairs. Sometimes it feels as if im feeding all night, (im breastfeeding) She doesnt generally sleep well at naps during the day either and ends up grouchy and crying, we are not having a good time! Its beginning to affect my 5 yo as well.:\?Confused

I don't really know but the only thing I can think of is that maybe she is having a growth spurt and is not getting enough milk or maybe because you are feeding her so often she is only 'snacking' and is not getting a full feed each time and so is waking up hungry. Im not really sure what you would do though, you are probably best speaking to your health visitor. Maybe you could try expressing your milk first so you can see exactly how much she is getting. Is she still putting on weight?
