wednesday the MW came & gave me a sweep. expecting my cervix to be completly closed but found i was already 1cm dilated. since then i experienced sharp shooting pains and period type pains but were on and off and irregular. i then seen a clear/whitey stringy looking a bit like jelly discharge when i went to the toilet which i found out off my MW that it was my mucus plug. yesterday i was then getting longer pains and more regular. this morning i woke up and started getting pains every 20 mins. they then became longer and gradually become closer. now i am getting contractions every 8 mins lasting 40 seconds. ive rang hospital they told me to ring back when i was getting them every 5 seconds lasting 60 seconds. now tbh i think this is stupid. they dont even know if im ok or anything.
oh well.. im going in the bath soon, then if im still getting bad contractions about 8-9 im going to hospital.

all i can say is contractions are bluddy terrible lol

ooh good luck, but think u've made a typo lovery...u'l prob need to go in when they're every 5 minutes, not 5 seconds lol. also don't force urself to stay at home longer than u feel comfortable, once u find u can't breathe thru them then or feel u need some pain relief then go in even if its before the'yre 5 minutes apart.

take carexx
