Subject : I feel so guilty

Hi Girlies,

Sorry to butt in as i havent used this forum before.
Im 7 weeks pregnany with my 2nd child, i have a 14 month old little girl.
Sometimes when im playing with her or when she gives me a cuddle just the littlw things it makes me feel so guilty that im having another baby not sure why maybe its just my hormones. I get so upset. Baby number 2 was planned but we didnt expect it to happen so quickly as it took us months to conceive our little girl so was a bit of a shock when i found out i was pregnant.

Did any one else feel like this when they had their 2nd baby?

Thanks

Louise 7 weeks xx

Hi Louise,
Just wanted to say that you are not on your own, I posted a thread virtually identical to yours a few weeks ago, as I too felt guilty that we were having baby no 2 (even though it was planned). I wandered how my son was going to cope and whether he would change as a result.
I got a few replies from other ladies to say that felt the same and they think its pretty normal to feel this way.
As for my son he seems to be fine with it so far, happily tells everyone mummys got a baby in her tummy, and he kisses me all the time and says it's for baby, He's convinced the baby is in boobs so don't let him kiss baby, unless it's my tummy lol.

The way I see it now is that I'm not pushing my son out by having another baby, but am giving him play mate and will keep him company for years to come.
I hope you feel better soon, and try not to let it get you down.

Stacie 14+5 weeks xx

it is natural to feel that way, but it will pass, the age diff that ur two children will hav are just nice my 2 have just over 2 years between them and even tho sophies only 8 months they love playing together, so you really don't need to feel guitly, just make the most of the time with your little girl now.

Hope that helped
