Had a scan a week Monday and was told everything was there that should be there but as it was small they couldn't see a convincing heartbeat. I was told that due to the size that is normal. I was 8 weeks then though and can't help thinking that by then you should see something. I know you can easily knock a week off your calculations in which case i can see that been possible. I've had four mcs of which the last one was a mmc at 7 weeks (had stop growing at 6 weeks). With the mmc i had brown spotting and back ache which then developed over the next 7 days to be a mc but still had to go into hospital for medical managment.

I have had no spotting, bleeding, pain or anything to make me feel that things are wrong but can't help thinking the worse. Im still absolutely knackered, boobs killing me and constantly feeling sick. I don't know whether the tiredness is down to having 4 kiddies to run after though.

As im typing this, i feel stupid for getting myself in such a state but don't seem to be able to stop myself.

Im totally dreading the scan on Friday and yet really i should be looking forward to it as really i have no reason to think the worse.

just thought id let you know i'm kind of in your situation as i have had 2 miscarrages and a molar pregnancy just 5 months ago and now i'm 5 weeks 4 days and i too have a scan on friday which i am totally dreading too.

i dont know what to expect but i am hoping for the best. hope it all goes well for you xx

Hey i also have a scan on Friday when i will hopefully be 7+6 ( i had a mmc in March at 7+2 which wasnt picked up til my scan ay 8+6 and i had had an early scan at 6+4)

good Luck and think positive - im so worried mmc is going to happen to me again im analysing every symptom or lack of one its so stressful...

Hi Sara, i do hope Friday is a good day. It looks like Friday is a big day for everyone. I have my 2nd Scan on Friday too, had an early one last monday but could see nothing. I have had period type pains since we found out and i am now in my 7th week. Your signs sound really good, so try and keep positive and not long till Friday now.
