I'm ok thanks
Am off to the docs tomorrow as i'm feeling slightly abandoned!!!

Since i had the drilling nearly a year ago the consultant has more or less said that's it,it's down to luck now but i'm not too happy and want to know why i've never been offered follicle tracking and maybe more clomid?

i had to change doctors recently as we moved out of the area and i don't particularly like my new one, i'm used to having a doc that doesn't need to check my notes all the time and who knows me and my family history ( my mum has thrombosis which was caused by the pill)
I'll give her another shot tomorrow and if i get nowhere i'll be asking to see someone else!

I'm positive in general though, on 2nd month of using CBFM CD10 and 2nd day of poas today (still on lows at the mo but that's to be expected)
I'll let you know how i get on and i'll check back with you before thursday x x

on a slightly positive note...... when i had my tubes checked on HSG they said one was blocked ,positive bit coming up...... but when i had them checked again when drilling was done they were clear..... ! Smile

Oh wont be long now till you will be BD'ing for Britain! haha

Good Luck for tomorrow... and dont leave until you are satisfied!

Hiya hope you're ok x
just got back from docs and he's gonna write to my consultant to ask if i'm able to have IUI!
But he was unsure as to wether i will get it on the NHS (i'm not for IVF)
Can't find any info about wether i will be or even if they offer it on the NHS.
I'll keep you posted on what i find out x x
Good luck for Thursday x

Hi Cupcake,

I had my HSG last month and I too go worked up but afterwards as I wasnt able to get the results at the time, they said they were not qualified to say.

I was convinced this meant there was a problem as most people on here have been told at the time of the xray. I managed to get my GP to ring the hospital for the results as I was getting wound up and it was all clear.

Fingers crossed for Thursday, dont worry if they dont tell you there and then, doesnt mean bad news xxx

Oh my fingers are crossed for you... really hope u are eligable this time!

Does anyone know what age you can go on the list for IVF??
Ive tried to look into this and all i get back is the upper age limit... grrrrr

billie1980

Thanx for the advice.... the nurse did say at my last appointment that they should tell me there and then.... but its good to know it may not be all bad if they dont!

Had you met anyone that done your HSG before at previous appointmnets?.... thats one of my concerns... ive got so many!!

glenns*angel - Hope you get good news and that you can have IUI on the NHS. Why is the NHS so variable and essentially mean!

As cupcake just pointed out we will most likely not get IVF on the NHS as we are both too young, but if we wait til we get older surely the chances of it working are greatly reduced?! And by then we will have been waiting and trying for a long time Frown. I'm not sure if my area will say I am too young as the consultant did mention it would be the next step after 3 rounds of clomid, and then IUI. And as we seem to be eligible for IUI would that make us eligible for IVF? Anyway shouldn't be thinking about that - as we WILL be pg before we get to that road! - And neither should you cupcake as you will get there too!

I think we had to wait 6 months for me to turn 23 - this was so we could get clomid and have follicle tracking - as I said OH is older so got his sperm analysis out of the way so we didnt have anymore waiting. I am in west london, where abouts are you? Hope you are resting and not thinking too much about tomorrow cupcake - will be thinking and crossing my fingers everything goes well. xxxx
