but there was one a little while ago which had shoe sizes on and I thought they all sounded huge - we just got max measured yesterday for new shoes and he is only a 4.5 - is that tiny still????

Holly is only a size 5 and she has been a size 5 for months and months, every 6 weeks or so I take her to be fitted and she is STILL the same size! I think they just all grow at different rates.

Brendan is a size 6 at the moment, he was a size 4 when he was about 12 months old, then about 5 months later a size 5 and a half and when I got him measured the beginning of Oct he was a 6.

As Amy says they all grow at different rates so don't worry too much x

oh no not worried at all as he is a dinky one still anyway but I thought everyone on there had lo's with sizes 8's etc which sounds massive alongside his tiddly 4.5's

Rhys is a 4.5 too, though need to take him to get measured as think they've grown a bit

Noah's a 5 - i've got some 5 and a halfs that used to be zachs but they are way too big on him still! Noah's really dinky too - still my little baby!

think that may have been me!! Henry is a size 8 and I only got him some new shoes 6 weeks ago which were a 7 but all of a sudden he's got marks all over his toes as his shoes were too small! So another pair of £40 shoes in 6 weeks - not a happy mummy!!

My friend's lo is 3 months older than Henry and a size 5 - I'm pretty sure there is no 'normal' size whilst their this age!

Henry is very tall too- 95cms so his big feet match his size!

Emily, if there is a Clarks outlet anywhere near you it is really worth a trip. There is one near my Mums so I go there everytime we come back to the UK and they are loads cheaper. This time I got Bren some leather shoes with flashy lights that were £8 and some leather boots that were £18. They should both have been £28 full price. x

Emily if they're Clarks shoes they certainly shouldn't be making marks on his feet so soon because they're supposed to have a certain amount of growing room .... I know he's had them 6 weeks but it might be worth a try taking them back and complaining - even if they give you a discount on the next pair it would be something! x
