Subject : Christmas Ideas thread.
hi girls!
well its only two months away so thought i would start a christmas idea thread. We can share ideas and help each other out in finding certain things.
I bought Elle a little tinkerbell sticker book today and i have eyed up a few things. A little fairy toadstool money box and russian doll set in next:

i am a bit lost on what else to get her. I was thinking a little dolls pram but she probably wont push it around. maybe a little doll and a cot to put in her room?

Hey hun,
Good idea!!
Im a bit weird about plastic babies and cots,( love the ragdolls though and push about prams to help walking) I find it all a bit strange thats just me though so please dont be offended!!
I love those russian dolls very cute!
Im in the middle of writing a list as family has asked for it, most of the things we want family will get them we get the rest, its easier that way, at this age they are still not aware really of what they are getting so best to save money for when they can bug you for presents hehe!1
In saying that im sure we will end up spending a lot as we love to treat her, we would like -
pop up tunnel and tent set
mega blocks
ride on toy - she loved this at baby group
crayola draw kit
a huge aqua draw as she has a travel one and loves it
Thats all I can think of for now but will update if I think of more.
She has a play kitchen which she loves I always recommend that to people.
I cant believe xmas is so close xxxx

Erm, whatever we buy will be played with for about 10seconds before wandering off to pull leaves off a plant, bite the edge of sofa, pull open kitchen cupboards or pull cd's off shelf.
Honestly all shape sorters, stacking rings etc just get thrown on floor or under sofa (I spend half the day with my arm under sofa collecting balls etc)
So I've no idea what we're going to get him.
Wish I had a wee girl who would sit nicely and play with a dolly and not my wee monkey who would rather rip up my magazines than play with any toys !! S x

Suz - girls rip up magazines etc too! I know from personal experience. I also spend half the day scooping toys out from underneath the sofas
I have no idea what to get darcy for christmas she is still working through the masses of toys she got for her birthday! xx

well hubby surprised me today by buying Molly the most beautiful pink wooden dolls house!!! So she is getting that for her Christmas, also going to buy her a little family to live in it and then with her Christmas pennies build up the furniture etc.
Oh Keri-Anne we got Molly a pink cottage wendy/play house with some of her birthday pennies, her and Zach love it!

We've gone for loud plastic so far... elc activity table, fire engine, whizzaround garage and large aquadraw, bob the builder toys, megabloks, books, clothes.
I know we (&family) will go totally overboard and he'll spend days opening presents like his birthday! bless joy of being only grandchild!

ifound this at tkmaxx yesterday for £5
http://www.amazon.co.uk/My-Fairy-Funfair-Louise-Comfort/dp/0230015263
It is sooo wonderful. it has a little story at the beginning and then a giant pop up funfair that you have tofan out the book and it is a big circle with sparky rides that really spin and everthing :) i know Elle is a bit little but in a few months she will love looking and touching the pop up funfair. i might pick her up some more from the collection :)
