Chloe is absolutely mad about this at the mo!!!! She is in hysterics when we do it and constantly grabs at our fingers to do it with her, even found myself doing it at the till at Tesco today lol!!!

Only prob is I don't know many of the words to it!!! We did it a few times when I used to go to baby n toddler group with her but not enough to learn it. think it may be an older rhyme but now with more modern words??

does anyone know where i can find the words to it?? Keep getting stuck and doing stupid things to keep it going!!!lol!!!

We've had a couple of bookstart packs from HV now but it's not on the laminated cards in the packs.

I don't know if there are any words but those are the versions I've always heard, and they're the versions we do at sing and sign x

Forgot to say I do the actions too with Charlotte but have to be careful. She gets over-excited then nearly headbutts me!

OMG I can't believe how many versions there are!!! thanks ladies I now have some idea what they might be and can even make my own version from them all!!! We had the lion roar and crocodile scream one but been making up all sorts and looking very daft much to chloe's amusement!!

Zacky has always loved this song (along with Twinkle Twinkle) he used to sing the row row row bit and rock back and forth to let us know he wanted to sing it. He was around 9 months when he did this.

I have made up a really silly version for him for when he had his nappy changed.

Last couple of lines go

if you see Zackys bum, dont forget to squeeze.

He finds this hillarious. LOL.

I used to only know the normal version and the 'if you see a crocodile dont forget to scream, Lea loves that one! xx

Cole likes to be rowed really fast -thinks its hilarious especially if you tip him far back (used to get funny looks at the library music group for that but he was laughing) and now he likes to backflip off my knees and land on the floor - he does it so quick I have to always make sure I have a good hold of his hands when we do row row
