Subject : Update on isobelle

hi
Hope everyone is well.
Just thought i would let you know how isobelle is doing.
well, she is amazing!
she's out of ITU now and is in the high dependency unit. So she's heading in the right direction.
she is gradually moving onto full feeds and is currently on 10mls.
I'm having lots of cuddles which we both enjoy.

i'm gradually getting better but am suffering PND at the moment. think it's a mixture of hormones and guilt that i couldnt hold on a bit longer.

O sweetheart,
First off so pleased your little girl is doing well, she takes after her sister a right fighter.

As fro the PND i am sure that is natural but you do need to know its not your fault, you have produced a very very beautiful little girl and she is doing so well, you both are.

Loads of love.xxx

Oh Maria its not your fault! She looks so cute and is doing so well. I'm sure you'll be having her home sooner than you think, especially as she's having 10 mls already.

Thanks for your kind words.
We went to see isobelle this evening and she is back in iTU and also back on CPAP as her sats were low. she had managed to set all her alarms off. I must admit i was upset and ranted at the nurse who was really lovely though. I have felt as though they have been pushing her too much, but I know they are trained and have the baby's best interests. It's just i cant remember them like that with elise. We're keeping our fingers crossed that its just a blip xxx

I'm sure she'll be back on hdu soon. Grace was only in hdu and there were babies there on cpap so perhaps your unit has higher criteria for hdu-what I mean is they have to be weller babies than they had to be in Leeds. I hope that makes sense.
Sending Isobelle lots of get stronger vibes and you lots of upbeat vibes and hugs.

I hope that little Isobelle is getting stronger and will soon be back in HDU. And please don't blame yourself hun for feeling low, it's not your fault at all, and it's only natural to feel upset after what you have been through...wishing you all well soon
