Subject : Item for hospital bag!

I saw one of my friends last night who had her little girl last year and she was talking me through birth etc and told me 2 things to pack in my hospital bag:-

Lip balm & throat sweets

She said her lips were really cracked and her throat was really dry from the gas & air and they wouldnt let her drink much water, just sip it! So she said this items are a must have!

Just thought i would pass on the info!

Thats a good tip, I remember my mouth getting dry and I kept sucking on sweets because I was starving!!

I drank loads through labour-keeping hydrating is great for labour so not sure why they didnt allow her to drink.
Have also heard if you use G&A lip balms good.xxx

Def lip salv, face moisturiser and hand cream. Its so hot in hospitals and the air con really drys out your skin
