Morning girls
Ah EPP, dont feel so disheartened. When i was working out your highs etc, it was only a guess - and based on a 14day LP. You might have a shorter LP than that so it could be a couple more days till you see your high. Chickychoo didnt get one till CD21!
I reckon your body is waiting till the weekend so that you can BD loads!
I really do think you should start trying to BD every other day now though.... coz based on a 32day cycle, you are approaching your fertile time..... so get busy!!
Rainbow - sorry to hear your hubby is getting ill.... what naff timing!! Fingers crossed he recovers in time for yout peaks though.
Moon&stars - how come your hubby is against a july/aug baby?? I must admit, when i was younger (and even when i first started ttc) i never really wanted a baby born in july/aug coz they're the youngest in their school year and i always feel sorry for them for having their bday in the summer holidays... BUT.. after 6mths ttc - i just want one!!! I dont care when it's born!! :-(
Update on me.... turned my CBFM on today and it didnt ask me to POAS again??? Just showed 'high' automatically - which i was kinda expecting after my 2 peaks.... how strange. I reckon it IS doing what i said yesterday... once you get you first peak, it always gives you a 2nd peak and then a high. So perhaps it'll ask me to pee on my 10th stick tomorrow just to check i'm back to low? Or maybe it wont ask at all again this cycle?
Anyway.... we BD'd AGAIN last night but i'm not feeling too fab about it - coz there was "hardly anything there" if you know what i mean?! Poor hubby was feeling the pressure too much and we're lucky he could even manage at all! He is adamant that there were defo some swimmers released (ha ha, sorry TMI) but i'm not too sure coz i got none of the usual 'issues' after...
Oh well, guess there's nothing we can do about it. There's a lot to be said for just doing it every other day!!
xx

Thanks moon - and I'll be keeping very quiet for you as hopefully she'll take the hint and do a runner ;)
Thanks again Chicky - I'm more positive again after reading your post. You work wonders lol. Just got to keep my chin up. How's things with you today?
Broody - Morning my luv! I know we really should BD soon. Parents have been with us the last two nights so no chance there lol. Perhaps tonight or tomorrow but I'm treading carefully as I really don't want to stress my DH out as he wants it to be as "natural" as possible - men eh! We definately will Friday and the weekend though - that's when we usually do it anyways.
Think of hardly any "issues" afterwards as a good thing! Maybe they've just been tucked up away nicely lol - sorry that sounds really gross but you know what I mean! It's all so scary this TTC isn't it?!
Thanks again for all your advice! xxx

Broody - hubby isn't keen on having a kiddie youngest in the year at school - he thinks they will be at a disadvantage. He is basing this theory on one bloke that he went to school with who was born on the 30th August. I've met said bloke and well he's not the brightest spoon in the tin but that's got nothing to do with his birthday more to do with the amount of weed he smoked as a teenager! Personally I'm not that bothered what month the baby is born in, except December as my brother's birthday is in December and he says it sucks - too close to Chrimbo.
But as hubby is kind of 'holding the purse strings' in this instance there's not alot I can do about it!

My cousins bday is xmas day! Poor sod always gets forgotten about.... but i'd even take a xmas baby at the moment! I just want one!!
I bet your worries about all that change once youve been trying a while (although hopefully it wont come to that coz it'll happen quickly)!
And yeah the july/aug babies are at a slight disadvantage when they first start school - but i defo think it was the "wacky baccy" (as my mum calls it) that caused that bloke the problems! ha ha xx

I'm going to stick up for August babies now!
I was born in August and like to think that I was never at a disadvantage. It was awesome, and because it was the school holidays we always had lots of birthday parties, days out to celebrate and holidays. I would make him reconsider!
EPP - I'm good thanks today, we did some baby dancing last night so all good. I'm just waiting for my peak now. I'm CD19 today and last month had my peak on CD20, so hopefully i'll get it tomorrow. DH and I are going away to a wedding this weekend so we don't have to worry about parent's being in the next bedroom! Hoorahh!

Chickychoo - fingers crossed for a peak this weekend then!!
Now come on.... admit that when everyone turned 17 and started driving lessons, it sucked that you had to wait till August?? ha ha!!
My bday is Oct and i always remember my best mate moaning soooo much coz her bday wasnt until July and she had to wait ages to turn 13 and then 17 and then 18... then 21 - all the ages you're desperate to reach!
And now it's me moaning coz i'm edging closer towards 30 than her!!
xx

Yes you're quite right Broody - you were behind everyone reaching those milestone birthdays but now all of my friends are turning 30 and I still have 10 months left of my 20s. Awesome! x

My DH's birthday is Christmas Day lol. He says you just get used to it because you don't know any different - I was amazed when he first told me as I hadn't met anyone born on Christmas Day before.
His Mum was gutted because she just sat down for her Christmas Dinner when her waters broke lmao!
Cold Turkey sandwiches were however taken up to the hospital later lol.

Ahh i know it's pretty naff for the kid, but i reckon having your baby on xmas day must feel so lovely! My mate is due on 23 Dec so we keep saying she might have an xmas baby!!
chickychoo- having this conversation reminded me that when i was younger (in Infant school) i used to wind my best mate up about how much younger she was than me (coz i was sooooo much older by just 9 months!) and she used to say to me "well you're gonna die first"....we used to think that you turned 100yrs old and died on your birthdaty!! ha ha!! xx

Lol Broody that's so weird because I used to say that to my friends too lol. I'm a September baby so they were all older than me by a few months so I just used to say, "Well so what? You're going to die before me too!" Lmao!
I thought that was just a Scottish thing as well!

Well Chickychoo I think it would be nice to have a birthday in the summer. Mine is February and you really are limited as to what you can do - certainly not have a bouncy castle and bbq in the garden! I wouldn't mind in the least - I teach in the infants and know that alot of a child's progress is down to parental support and actually, whether or not the kiddie can be bothered to learn! I have taught children born on 1st September who aren't as clued up as children born in August. But hubby gets these odd ideas and you can't change his mind.

Arr, the summer baby discussion!
If I get my BFP this cycle, then my EDD would be July 18th, which is also my birthday, which would just be fab!! ::lol:
I was speaking to my friend about this today, and must admit I don't think it makes much differnece but each to their own. What I did think though was that when you're TTC, the feelings take over and most people are just happy regardless.

Im here!! Hope you ladies are all well. As for the time of year etc, like Broody etc i dont care i just want a baby now!! The only thing i was really looking forward to was having a winter baby so i could wrap it up in one of those gorgeous snow/pram suits, love that! But a summer baby would be just as amazing...just want it so much, but going for the relaxed approach right now and trying not to think about it much xx

Morning! And hi Pickle it's nice to see you.
Well I expected to get my peak this morning on CD20 but still high. :(
I guess you don't get it on the same CD each time but I do hope it hurries up especially as we're going away tonight for the weekend.
Hope you're all well and full of PMA x

I've been following the whole summer baby discussion and I fall into the group of I don't care when the baby is due, I just want one:-) I always thought a September baby or a spring baby would be best, but have come to the conclusion that this TTC malarky is really out of our hands and I will just be pleased to get my BFP ASAP. I've just entered the 1WW now and promised myself I wouldn't SS, but I am....lol. So far I've had lower back ache, some twinges in the pelvic area and have manged to convince myself my boobs feel heavier and tender. Thing is I seem to have these symptoms every month and then AF comes along.
