Gosh, you ladies have been busy on here today!

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the little window didn't turn blue!

I'm from the West Midlands, am 26 years old and TTC our first.

Edinpinkprincess, ate you doing OPK's too?

Chickychoo, I used to be like this quite a lot, and I found that as were were *ahem* getting intimate, I wuld worry which of course made things all the worse. I used to have some help and found it made a huge difference.

Pickle 2ww - argh - I hate it, although I'm not too far away from it myself now.

Pickle, yep I BD in 2ww just for the hell of it, like before all this TTC malarky!:D

TBH I find the whole month goes so slow, I just want to keep going to testing time for my hope of a BFP!

Hey Rainbow - nope just using the CBFM. Is that ok just to use that?

Day 15 for me and still no high :( Feel more positive than yesterday though after reading Mrs PPB saying she too has a 32 day cycle and never got her first high until day 19 so I'm thinking positively.

Also thanks to Broody again for keeping my mind at ease too.

Morning ladies!

Yikes, i need to start coming on here of a night so that i dont have so much to catch up on when i get into work (and should be working - ha ha).

Glenns Angel - what is going on with your cycle then?? When did you last test? And when you say your 17dpo - is that from your peaks on your CBFM?

Pickle - nearly in the 1ww!! Woo hoo!! I'm only about a week behind you coz got my 2nd peak today! And AF usually arrives 13 days after the 2nd peak. Arghhhhhh i wanna go into July together!!!
As for Bding in the 2ww.... we do but only when we want to, so for 2wks we manage to go back to our usual sex life which is lovely! Although... hubby said to me last night "when can we stop doing this for a while and have a rest?" ha ha ha!! But if your OH is more eager now then keep going with it, and maybe in future (although hopefully you'll get your BFP this time) dont tell him when you're getting highs & peaks??? Mind you, we have to BD for about 5 days in a row at that time - so it might be a bit tricky not to tell him coz he'll prob figure it out!

EPP - glad you're feeling more positive. I reckon you'll have a high by the weekend. How often are you BDing anyway??
During my first month of using CBFM, i still used a cheapie OPK every other day - just to confirm what the machine was telling me.... and it was spot on! Yesterday i got my 1st peak, so last night i used a cheapie OPK again and the 2nd line was there bold as you like! So i'm not gonna bother anymore coz the CBFM clearly works!

Girls.... quick question.... i got my first peak yesterday using my 9th test stick. So today i turned the machine on, and it just said Peak again! Without asking me to POAS!! Why???? Do you reckon it's coz it realises i only have 1 stick left so it's gonna try and only make me use that 1 stick this cycle??
I'm thinking it might automatically give me a high tomorrow - and then ask me to use my final stick the day after to check i've gone to low... what do you all think??? Or do you reckon there's something wrong with it????

xx

Morning Broody

I wish I could help with your question but I really don't know as I'm still unsure about my own monitor!

In regards to the BD...well....we haven't. We did once last week as we felt like it but nothing this week. DH isn't very highly sexed so it's quite difficult. To be honest though neither am I really - we commute every day so when we get home, we're both too knackered. Hopefully if we start seeing some highs that will all change however. I hate admiting anything like that as I'm sure you all must be thinking we're really strange lol.

Hello Broody

That's really strange isn't it. If I were you i'd call the CBFM phone line and ask them what they think. I've called them before and they're so helpful. I do think that our little gadgets know what they're doing and wouldn't have thought that this is a blip. Just tried to google it too but couldn't find anything.

EPP - we don't think you're strange at all. When we were living and commuting every day in London it was the last thing on our minds. Is this your first month in using the monitor? During my first month I didn't get a high until day 21 so please bear with it. xx

Hey Chicky - how's you today hun?

Yeah it's our first month using the CBFM - Thanks for letting me know that! That's also making me feel alot better :) It's hard going commuting, so the weekend's really "our" time if you know what I mean - I also suffer from Anxiety so that tires me out alot too so it's a combination of a few things really!

EPP - i dont think you're strange at all! But i do think you need to be having sex more often... just in case the machine is wrong (altrhough i really dont think it is). What are your plans gonna be when you get highs & peaks?? ~BDing every day? Coz i tell you what - it is bloody hard work! Last night neither of us could be bothered AT ALL but it was my 1st peak so we had to! I ended up being silly and dancing round the bedroom doing a comedy striptease - and my hubby was really laughing... and it just broke the ice. We had a cuddle and we were like "right, we gotta do this!".... and so we did! But laughing about it is defo a good thing.

chickychoo - oh no, do you really think u should call them?? Arghh i hate tihngs like that! I'll try and build up the courage today and might call them tonight! xx

I'm feeling much more positive today thanks EPP. We are working on an every other day strategy since Monday on high days then when I get my peaks we'll go for it on both days. Hopefully this will do the trick. At least with the CBFM you know when to get on with it.

It is tiring though isn't it? I never knew that it would be this difficult.

Broody - you are hilarious. I know what you mean about laughing your way through it. It's up to you about calling them, it's just nice to speak to someone who understands the machine and knows exactly how it works and who also hears similar stories from other women every day. xx

Chickychoo - you're right. I prob should call them. I'm actually really glad the machine didnt ask me to POAS today though coz i really didnt want to have to spend £20 on another box of sticks this cycle! I might wait and see what it does tomorrow first and see if my "theory" is correct! If the machine usually does the same 'peak, peak, high, low' to everyone then there isnt really any reason for me to POAS again coz i can guess what it's going to say from now on.

Ha ha, yeah you defo have to try and laugh your way through it... it's either that or you both feel too pressured and end up arguing! xx

Oh.... **Broody** you've made me giggle with your dancing striptease..!!
Must admit i've done that myself, then again so as DH haha!!
Yes my body really is playing tricks on me this month CD44 now and DPO19 and yes that's according to CBFM 1st peak!

Went to Tesco today and got 2 twin packs of CBD for £9 (bargain) and POAS this afternoon, i know i'm meant to use FMU but i'm just so fed up with not knowing whats going on,oh it was not pregnant by the way, should i do another one in the morning?
Not sure about your CBFM question tho, maybe if your theory isn't right then a phone call to the helpline is needed.

I think everyone should be doing the dancing striptease tonight, have our DH's and OH's laughing, relaxing and gagging for you..... haha x

Hi ladies

Well if my dates are right I should get my af tomorrow so will be able to turn my cbfm on.

However, the other day I worked out my cd1 dates and edd's up til the new year. If they stay the way they should we won't be able to start ttc until the very end of December/beginning of January as hubby is not keen on a July/August baby. However, if this months af stays away for a few more days (it's not that much to ask is it?? I mean she comes every month to annoy me, couldn't she cut me some slack just this once?) it will push back my November af which would mean we could start ttc right at the start of December, which would be lovely!

So feeling very torn this evening - although I can't wait to turn on my cbfm, I also am willing my af to stay away for a few days more. ARG! I'll let you know how it goes (even though that is far too much tmi!!!)

Hey girls - sorry I never got back to you yesterday.

Day 16 and still low. The strip has no trace of a second line at all.

I'm starting to regret ever turning my CBFM on Sad

Edin don't give up hope! And also (I am wagging my finger at you) why are you reading the strips on the stick??!!! You've just paid a whacking great fortune on a little machine to take the pain out of the whole thing so why are you doing it's job for it? Naughty! I know it's easy for me to say but try to be patient - I'm sure you'll get there.

Thanks moonandstars - I know I shouldn't be. I get really hopeful when I hear people not getting there's till late on etc but I can't help but get really disheartened. I'm so worried there's something wrong with me.

I've never not had a period so surely that means I ovulate? I don't know all the ins and outs of ovulating. Do you ovulate every month? Sorry for the stupid questions I just don't have a clue - clearly!

Any sign of AF yet moon?

Actually Edin you ov 10 months out of every 12, so you don't ov every cycle. I didn't know that until I bought my Zita West book. Such an interesting book! And also, stress can affect your ovulation - another Zita West tip.

I'm glad I could be of some help - I know how you feel about worrying - I am the Queen of worrying!

xxSara
PS Keep it quiet (don't want her to hear!) but af hasn't arrived yet.

Ah EPP. I know how frustrating it is, during my first month using it I kept seeing lows until CD21 when I got my first high. I also never got a peak during my first month which is apparently very common. I know what you mean about looking at the strip - I'm terrible for doing that too.

As for your questions about ovulation (which aren't stupid). I understand that every cycle you will have a period but that doesn't necessarily mean that you've ovulated. I don't completely understand it myself as there are so many theories on the internet. Perhaps someone else can help to shed some light.

Think positive! x
