right they have not sent the paper work out yet... it is in the postal tray... but there is another postal strike tomorrow and friday so that will put a delay on it... so I am going to pick it up myself at lunch time. I have to have my bloods done before DH has his SA. So I am going to get my bloods done whilst at the hospital today so then they will have those results in a week, and then DH can have his SA done end of next week beg of the following week...

Morning girls!
My oh my Sarah has been quiet - hope all is ok and she is just putting her feet up to let her little bean settle in:)
TBD - great news - go you little follicle producer you!!! lol. Can't believe how quickly it has all come around for you from when we started this thread. So excited, it sounds like everything is going textbook for you! Bring on your November baby!!!
Rachie - sorry to hear they have not been able to send out your paper work, stupid postal strikes!!! Good luck for your bloods today though, hope they all come back giving you the January go ahead! Its all starting to move for you too! So exciting. This could become quite the little thread of bfps!!!
Laujai - sorry to hear af still hasnt found you. Did you decide to take a test just to rule out that possibility? Hope things start to sort themselves out for you sooner rather than later!
Sparkly - have you tested lately? I know you don't think you Ov's, but just in case? Can you call your Dr to request bloods to see whats happening? Hope you get some answers soon...
As for me - feeling quite positive for the first time in ages which is good. My quasi-AF is just finishing up - and while i dont think it was a 'proper' one, am pleased something happened to break up limbo! Still waiting till Jan to start on the clomid though.
Hope everyones week is going well...

Hi ladies,
TBD great news about the follicles, have replied on your other thread, so pleased that it's all moving along quickly for you.
Sanguine glad your feeling more positive, Jan is right round the corner now so not to long huni.
Rachie what a joke that your paperwork still hasnt been sent out glad you've taken things into your own hands now & finally getting bloods done.
Hey Sparkly I agree with San think maybe a talk to your GP may be in order if anything to give you some peace of mind either way, it's horrible being in limbo.
Hey Sarah hope your well huni.
So my little pup is great except for the nipping, she's teething & although she has lots of things she can chew on she prefers fingers & toes!!! Spent last night teaching her how to fetch the ball & bring it back to me!! Still no sign of AF, I suppose if the 3 day bleed I had was AF then I probably wouldnt be due on till say nxt week but I just dont understand the mechanics of ov'ing & having AF when I still had hcg in my system!! So was wondering if the bleed was from the spots of blood they saw on the 1st scan!! I havent done a test I would be very surprised to get a +ve as we have been using condoms & not had any accidents to my knowledge!!! Our appt is on 1st Dec so as long as she comes soon so I can have my bloods done in time for our appt, I think me feeling so anxious about it all that im not doing myself any favours!! I havent had a proper period since June & that was a chem pg & then obviously nothing after cause of pg, I wouldve been 20wks on Sat & that's been playing on my mind too. Need to find some PMA from somewere cause i've become a miserable cow at home!!!
gosh that was a long rant!! xxxx

Hey ladies...sorry another quickie...have to listen to Zita in a min before sleeping!
Rachie - how pants about your paperwork....but at least you have plenty of time to get it sorted sweetie. The protein shakes are from Holland and Barrets and apparently protein improves the quality of the eggs....willing to try anything. I had the chocolate one today and was nearly sik but the strawberry one was quite nice...just like a normal strawb milksake. They also do vanilla ones but I didn't get those. I have only taken nasal spray (down-regging) since Monday and felt really sick and headachey on monday night, couldn;t eat dinner and went to bed at 8.30. Then felt fine yesterday and today. I had my first stimming injection tonight, so yes the 12 follies are before the stimming!! It's a good start apparently!! Hope you get your papers soon so you can book OH sa in.
Sanguine - so pleased you're feeling positive sweetie. At least you're out of the total limbo state now. Maybe you will ov naturally between now and Jan anyway....hopefully lots of relaxed festive bd'ing and a lovely xmas BFP.....and if not, then you are a lady with a plan....
Laujai - aw poochy sounds adorable, if a bit of a handful! How confusing about AF....I have little advice to offer having never been in any of these situations, but from what you've said I guess your body may just be completely confused by this yrs sharp rise and falls in hormones....you've really been through it and maybe your body is just taking a rest for a bit until it's ready for another pg.
Sarah - hope you're ok sweetie.
As I said above, I started stimming injections tonight...not really an injection...just a teeny tiny needle like a pin prick. Hubbie did it for me though. Am feeling fine today but may all change by tomorrow.

TBD I am have an IVF shopping list... protein shakes are now on it :) One thing I saw is that you are taking pineapple juice... because with pineapple juice after transfer as it can lead to mc. I took Gonal-F whilst I was on my injections... I didn't suffer too badly on them so I hope you don't either sweetie. I am so pleased you are having such good results so far :) :) I have such a fab feeling for you.
Sanguine... so pleased you had some sort of AF and that has helped you mentally. The fact it was red blood is so positive as it is fresh blood so it shows that your body is working. I hope this is the last AF for you for 9 months though now... if not bring on the clomid babies!!!
Laura... I am so jealous about the puppy... I want one!!! I have cats but would love a dog as well, but our house is too small... however when I am off on maternity leave (!!!!!) I hope that all changes!!!! I hope you are having some sign of AF?!?
I had my bloods done for the routine tests yesterday, when I picked up the blood forms I went straight to do it. i do have to go for a blood test between day 1-5 of my cycle for my AMH levels, but because my periods are so irregular the secretary is going to ring the doc about it and the consultant may just tell me to have it on a random day. DH has to go for his routine bloods now, he can't go today but he has promised he will go Monday at the very latest as they won't give him his SA until he has his bloods.

Hi everyone hope you're all ok. I've felt a bit crappy this week. Dont know if I've got a bug or run down or something. Must be old age ever since I turned 30! I took a Tesco test yesterday afternoon but it was neg. FF is saying I ovd on Monday now but I just dont know. My temps are still only 36.3 so I dont know what to think.
Because I'm now under the consultant I really dont think my doc will do anything apart from say what the sheet on clomid tells me to do - take another dose after 4-5 weeks if not pg. But I'd have to take norithisterone first because I wont have AF which no doubt will end up being hardly there like it was last time I took it!
How's everyone else doing? xx

Hey ladies,
Rachie - your shopping list sounds like a good idea hon. Nice to be doing something proactive isn;t it. Hmm I think I'll stop the pineapple after transfer, but taking it now as it's apparently good for the lining because of the selenium (as are the brazil nuts). What dose of gonal-f were you on hon? I'm on 150. Been feeling fine again today luckily. The AMH test can be done on any day of the sycle, doesn;t have to be day 1-5. The whole point is that it is (supposedly) stable throughout the whole cycle which is why it's more reliable than FSH. Good luck with getting the tests sorted hon.
Sparkly - it's all sounding pretty good hon. Doubt you'd get a BFP this early on though. Maybe you should wait for at least 2 weeks from when FF says you ov'ed and test again?

OOooh TBD they told me it had to be done day 1-5, I will ring them and have a chat with them. As otherwise I am waiting about another 10 days to have it done.
When I was on the ov induction I was on a low dose 100. As it is not a case of collecting follicles, if I had gone over 2 follicles they would ahve cancelled that treatment.
Pineapple is now on my list :) :) Thank you hun!
Sparkly how you feeling hun? I agree with TBD maybe wait 2 weeks from when FF say you ov'd and test again as you would be so early?!

Lol yeah I know its too early now but I tested before I realised I could have just ovd recently purely because I didnt feel too good. Even my POAS addiction isnt that bad! lol. My temp was up to 36.4 today which still seems quite low for post ov but all my temps have been lower than that previously so maybe....
Good luck TBD and RachieS. There has been a distinct lack of BFPs on this board recently!! Come on eggies!!

Morning ladies,
Was up early today as had to drop my bevolved man to the airport, he's gone to Dubai for 10 days for work ;'(
I miss him already!!! We checked him in & then had breakfast together before he had to go through, I went with him last year but as we have pooch now couldnt go plus not really cost effective at the moment, roll on a week Sunday when I can go & pick him up!!
Sparkly I would wait & re-test again in a couple of weeks.
Girls with the pineapple juice I used to drink this prior to ov & then stop in the 2ww (obviously works the amount of pg we've had LOL) Good luck all.
Will pop back later for a proper catch up as pooch is harrasing me at the min LOL xxx

Hey ladies,
Rachie - hope you managed to get hold of them about the AMH. I am pretty sure about this as Lister is one of the top in the country and my cons got the blood test for me on cd18. Ahh that makes sense about the lower dose....I was wondering about that.
Sparkly - he he ... that makes more sense now! That would be quite some addiction otherwise.... how are you feeling today? Personally, after I've ov'ed I always start to feel a bit low and moody which I assume is the increase in progesterone.
Laujai - aw bless you honey...I'd be lost without my hubbie for that long. At least pooch is there to keep you company though. Hmm, that's interesting about the pineapple juice...will defo keep it going in that case...I love pineapples anyway. They're good for the sperm as well, so we have fresh pineapple for desert quite often.
Sanguine and Sarah - missing you....hope you're both doing ok xxx
Not much happening with me. Have been a bit tired today but maybe just because it's Friday! Starting to feel slightly tender in the ovary area....can't wait to find out what's going on down there on Monday when I have my scan. Bit nervous though. Have just had a takeaway curry....feels a bit naughty, but I figure I need to continue with some level of normality even though we're doing IVF. Will have to eat lots of fruit and veg tomorrow to make up for it! xxx

TBD I spoke to the nurse and she said they are testing other stuff as well which need to be tested during day 1-5 but she has said that because I have such irregular periods if I want to just do it randomly I can otherwise there may be a further delay? I think my AF is due next week so I may wait until wednesday next week and if it does come then go... but If it does not go then still just get it done. But then I may do it randomly so I can just get it all done as we are away for most of December and am concious that we are running out of time, esp as they won't let DH do his SA until all of our bloods come back.
Laur how long is SH husband away? My DH use to work away so much, he use to be away for 2 weeks, back for 5 days, away for 2 weeks and I hated it. It is horrible. Any sign of AF?
TBD good luck with the scan today... I have everything crossed now!
Sparkly and Sanguine... how are you girls?!
Hope you have all had lovely weekends?

Hey girls - feels like a long time since I've been on, but it's only a few days - does this mean I have an addiction problem? ;) lol.
Trying to catch up on where everyone is up to in a short amount of time (why do they insist that I do work when I am at work?!!?)...
TBD - things are just barrelling along at a phenomenal pace for you! Can't belive how quickly your moment is coming up. You have your scan today to see how your follicles are growing? Will be looking for your update, I just know that you will have several lovely looking follicles just waiting to bust:) very excited for you!
Rachie - Irregular cycles really are the proverbial pain aren't they? I think your plan for next week is good - if you get your Af then fine, and if not, just get them done randomly anyway - it just means you are moving forward all the time that way. Unless of course you decide to just do it this week - I know I probably would! Hope all your results come back fine and dandy and ready to go for our big January!!!!
Lau - Sorry to hear your hubby is away. Its horrible having them away when you are feeling a little bit vulnerable anyway, but I hope you use the time to treat yourself and relax and worry only about you!!! And your wee little dog of course:) As Rachie also asked - any sign of the witch?
Sparkly - sorry to see you got a bfn. But great to see you think you may have ov'd!!! I will have everything crossed for you! Are you just moving into the 1 ww then? Really hope you have managed a surprise bfp!
Sarah oh Sarah - where for art thou? Anyone know? She seems to have gone awol after OV!!!! Hope you are doing well hun and managing to relax on your 2ww.
As for me - if what I had *was* af - then I would currently be on CD 10...so kind of the dull end of the cycle really! Am still on my vitamins and AC and have been trying to eat right and even went for a jog at the weekend (soooo unlike me!!! I hate running with a passion!!)...all in the name of trying to get my stupid body to ovulate and give me one last 'natural' chance before the clomid January. In any case, I do feel more 'balanced' and my mood is generally brighter, so all good things!!
Thinking of all you girlies, can't wait to see the first bfp from our little family:)

I think Sanguine what I am going to do is have my bloods done this week and then if AF does show next week I will go and have it done then too... least then I can get DH SA done. I just don't want to wait and it not come.
I have heard from Sarah she is having a little break from BE but is thinking of us girls, she just thought she needed a little time off from it all.
I am going for a run tonight Sanguine... I want to get myself in peak condition... as such for IVF! I am already starting to talk myself out of running... it is very cold outside!
I too can't wait for our first BFP :)

Hi girls
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I still have no sign of AF although last week I was getting some pain in my right side for a few days so could this be ov?? If it is then I wont expect af till mid nxt wk roughly, arghhh hurry up you old witch, I was hoping she would be here while oh is away LOL. He'll be back Sun eve, cant wait!!
TBD good luck with your scan today hun, cant wait to hear all about it.
Rachie you sound how I feel waiting for something to happen quick to get bloodwork done before time runs out thats good that you can still have it done randomly if shes a no show, hope they all go well for you hun!!
Sanguine great to hear that you are feeling bright & positive you are being incredibly kind to your body what with jogging on the wkend as well as vitamins your very good, I take vitamins but you wouldnt catch me jogging LOL although may take up swimming again soon.

Well I'm beginning to sound like a stuck record at the moment but I really dont think I have ovd as my temp was only 36.0 today at supposedly 7dpo and it was 2 days ago too. FF is still saying I've ovd so I'm going to wait until it decides I havent then take the norithisterone again.
Laujai - the pain defo sounds like ov pain but saying that I kept getting it and never actually oved but my body is just plain wierd!

Hey lovely ladies,
Rachie - I think I'd do the same...go this week so you can get AMH and get on with s/a. Then if AF arrives next week get the bloods done that need to be done on 1-5. Then you'll know things are moving forward at least. It won't be long honey.... espec if you're away a lot in December.
Sanguine - hey hon, have missed you...it seems like ages to me too that you'd been gone!! Sounds like you're being very good and doing evrything possible for that miracle BFP sweetie. Ooh it would just be so fab.
Laujai - what a pain about AF. As you say maybe you've only just recently ov'ed. It must be so annoying waiting, but it will be worth it for the reassurance that all is ok when you start TTC again. You must be missing hubbie loads...I miss mine when he's just away for 1 night!
Sparkly - oh you poor thing. How frustrating for you. Hope you have ov'ed honey. I've never managed to get myself organised to do temping so not too sure about it all.
Sarah - glad you've taken a break if that's what you needed sweetie...you have to do what's best for you.
Have updated on my other post, but just to say that I had 2 big follies today (18 ...is it mm? can't be..., whatever it is!) and then the rest were all smaller (can't remember sizes), there were about 12 or so I think....it wasn't entirely clear to me. My lining was perfect apparently, thicker than it needs to be. I was a bit disappointed, but sonoggrapher and nurse said it was fine given that I'd only been injecting for 5 days and they said there's plenty of time for the others to catch up. I really don;t know what is normal at this stage though. Have to go back on Weds for another scan and then will probably be egg collection end of this week or beginning of next week! I am feeling less PMA today :-( but hoping my cold will be gone soon and that the next scan will be more positive.
Muchos love and hugs xx

TBD You are so hard on yourself sweetie... but you really shouldn't be. You are doing amazingly... and the follicles sound like they are perfect size. You have not been stimming for long so don't be disheartened, it is all about quantity and you don't want them to be too big so the egg is no good. It is fantastic that your lining is perfect :) That will help with implantation. It is moving so quickly for you hun. I hope you are feeling better today with more PMA?! Sending you a huge hug!
Sparkly... I can understand how frustrated you are. How long are your cycles normally? Do you always have to take noristhertone (sp!) for an AF?
Sanguine I really hope with having some sort of AF that has kicked started your cycle. Can you remind me do you suffer from PCOS?
Lauraaj so annoying about AF still missing, and I completely get you that it would have been ideal time to have arrived whilst he is away!!!! Not much longer until he is home though :) :) :)
I am going to go for my bloods tomorrow, and then if my AF arrives next week I will ring up for some more paperwork and go and get them re done... least then like you said DH's SA can be done and then we are sorted on that front and then if AF does not appear I won't be kicking myself for waiting out for it and I could get my appt in sooner then!!! All this waiting is starting to annoy me big style as I know with the waiting times it is delaying everything but once all the tests are done then I know we can start pretty much immediately... but I also want to know which protocal I will be on. I think I would be on the long protocol? But not sure? xxx

Hey Rachie, thanks sweetie. You're right....as always!! I am much more PMA today....got my image of the kiddies running around back and cold nearly gone. Yay! Next scan tomorrow...eeek....bit nervous....just feels like so much is at stake. But am relaxed about it all on the whole.
Glad you've now got a plan. I can see where you're coming from....I found the waiting really annoying. And I didn;t really wait very long at all. But it will fly by, and as you say once all the tests are done you can started straight away hon. Most people do go on the long protocol. On the whole it seems to be older ladies and poorer responders who go on the short protocol, but I'm not really sure why that is. I am on the short protocol becuase I'm impatient and wanted to start before next yr, and I was told by my cons that it wouldn't be any better or worse. With the long protocol I would have had to go on the pill for 2 weeks which I really didn;t want. But the benefit is that you can plan out when scans etc will be a bit more easily with the pill, whereas I had to wait for AF to arrive and then go in the next day for my scan so it was a bit more rushed and stressful. xxx
Hello and hugs to all you other ladies xxx

TBD that is absolutley great news about the follicles I cant beleive egg collection is just round the corner i am sooo excited for you both. Like Rachie says you need to stop being so hard on yourself, I have a great feeling about this it's gona work & your gona make great parents.
Rachie good luck with the bloods tomorrow huni the waiting around sucks I completley get you on that hun I think the way you have planned everything though is great & you have the right idea about how your doing your bloods.
