Morning ladies, lovely to hear from you as always! Welcome Sparkly, pull up a chair and I'll pour you some tea! How are you feeling on the clomid? I agree with the other ladies that you may well find you OV later than normal. I'm just going to keep BDing for as long as I can!!

I am feeling great today and thanks TBD I think it might be because I am about to OV. Got some EWCM yesterday and although I usually get this I never seem to get it at the 'right' time and this seems to be bang on so here's hoping!! Did some visualising this morning after a quick BD session and am actually looking forward to all the weekend BDing!! Here's to celebrating my birthday with soft drinks!!

Bloody Royal Mail! I don't think they realise how many things they are screwing up! I work for a publishing company and we have had to publish early to get everything done in time as the reports are sent through the post. We have everything done though and the evil boss isn't in today (yay!). Probably another reason for my great mood!

Sanguine, I am a bit like you with funny things like lucky numbers! On Friday 13th I don't even like getting out of bed!! 2 and 3 are my lucky numbers so 6 is perfect!! Although, please don't let that discourage anyone else from joining in, I'm not that bad!!

TBD, you know you always have us my lovely and you can email me anytime. If you want my phone number I will happily give that to you too. Am I right in thinking you live Oxford way? We might not be able to get there in person but you know we are all here for you no matter what. I know it sounds strange, but I have a cat too who I love to pieces and I always find a cuddle with him cheers me up no end. He doesn't always like it though!! That's great news that you have managed to find the drugs cheaper as well, I wouldn't even think of trying to do that so well done you!!

Laujai, I second everyone else by saying I hope you get some answers too and you have been so brave and strong through all this that I have nothing but admiration for you. I know you will get your super sticky bean very, very soon.

Right, I am off to get some more water! I am drinking it like it's going out of fashion but it seems to be working so I'm not going to knock it!

Have a lovely day ladies

S xx

The lucky number 6 - excellent. Although, in the spirit of keeping ourselves open and welcoming to newbies, I am also quite partial to the number 7, and then my favourite number is 4, so double that would be 8...lol. I could get a little loopy again if I am not careful!
Its hard to keep up now all the latest replies are over 2 pages! Lets see how I do...

Sarah - great news hun! Bring on that OV!!!! lol. It will be a very busy weekend for you indeed! Like TBD, I have a great feeling for you this month and just know that we will be waving our goodbyes to you very very soon!

TBD - sorry to hear the postal strikes are giving you bother with getting your drugs. I hope you can get it sorted with a courier or something? Like Sarah says though, your not telling anyone is completely understandable, and in the meantime, we are all here for you if you want to chat. Hope you are not feeling too ill today!

Rachie - Yep, bring on January! Glad that I will have someone of the lucky 6 left to share the journey with - all these other lovelies being safely deposited in pregnancy by then of course! Hope you can get all your paperwork sorted etc ready for next week, terrible that the postal strike is effecting so many of us.

Sparkly - How are you feeling today hun? Any OV symptoms at all? Although even if not, don't let that worry you too much, i have read plenty of stories of girlies on clomid who don't think they OV but then get bfp's anyway...where there is a pill there is a way! lol.

Laujai - sorry to hear your pup has been keeping you up all hours, although hate to say it, but its excellent practice for when you are a new mummy! :) (humming away to 'always look on the bright side of life'). Unfortunately I am terrible with computers so can’t help you on the old virus thing, but in the spirit of the tune in my head, at least it isn’t you with the virus!! Lol. That was the best I could do….I am feeling quite Pollyanna-ish!!!!

As usual, I am the dull one of the group with nothing to report, although have been wondering if my nips are a teensy weensy bit sore…which I got around OV time the last time I did have a visit from AF – but am pretty sure its just wishful thinking again! But having just read ABP’s post before this one, which was so very very sad, I am trying all the harder to be grateful for what I have. Puts things in perspective again for me…we really all will appreciate our little one’s so much when they finally decide to grace us with their presence…

Anyway this is a mammoth post for someone with nothing much to contribute other than rambling about lucky numbers!!! Lol. Love to you all, am off for a spot of lunch.

Hey you lovely ladies,
I agree Sanguine, I find it harder to keep up when it spreads across pages. Sorry this is a bit brief but am just watching the v sad prog on C4 about Katie who got covered in sulphuric acid by her evil ex who raped her.....that certainly puts things in perspective aswell.

Rachie - hope blimmin' royal mail doesn;t hold things up too much longer. But at least you have some time to get it all sorted. Probably much better than my big rush to get it all done sweetie. So what have you been doing lately then? Any more research or having a break from things TTC-related??

Sarah - ooh sounds like that eggie is on its way honey. Glad you're enjoying the bd'ing...much better than it becoming a chore. V kind of you to offer email / phoning. I really appreciate that sweetie. I know you've offered before and I never get round to taking you up on it, but I will!!

Laujai - hope you're getting a nice early night tonight honey! You sound so relaxed lately....am very jealous!

Sanguine - ooh sounds like SOMETHING must be happening then sweetie. Maybe you should Bd just in case??? If it's AF there could still be time for a 2009 BFP for you! You do make me laugh ya know!

Sparkly - hope you're getting loads of action!!!

Well, DH picked up the drugs yesterday as turned out the company was up the road from our hs!!! So they're safely in the fridge. Just waiting for AF's arrival. Feeling v AF'ish now! First time I've been pleased (although of course teeny bit disappointed it won't be our miracle BFP before IVF!). Listened to my Zita CD last night and have to say it was really good and v relaxing. Will listen again tonight. Catch up again tom xxx

Morning All..
WHOOP WHOOP tbd regarding drugs :) :) What is the Zita CD like??? I am tempted to buy it????
I am constantly looking at research and stuff and trying to make sure I am doing everything right to be ready for IVF. I am starting up acupuncture again next week as not been for a few weeks, as for TTC I am not trying just going back to enjoying sex rather than constantly wondering if this is the right time to be doing it or not, as I have found sex has just be revolved around getting pg I just want a break from that as such and go back to focusing on each other rather than swinging my legs straight up in the air straight after doing it!!!!!
Sarah that sound so so so so promising about OV and the EWCM, bring on the egg... and bring on the sperm.....!! :) Have good weekend honey :)
Sanguine... that is promising... It may be definitely worth bding if that is a ov symptom!!!
Sparkly... hope you getting some symptoms too, hope you are doing ok?!
Laura... hope that gorgeous pup of yours let you sleep :)

Hey ladies,

It may be time to start a new chat thread! It has spread over quite a few pages now, although I have a great tendency to waffle so sorry about that!! I'll try and be brief today!!

TBD, great news about the drugs. I have been reading BarrenBlog and she's just got all hers too. It's so funny how you feel you know people through cyber space! It's still not over though this month, you know how AF & pg symptoms are so similar! But you have a plan now so if AF does show her face it still means you are super super close to that BFP.

Sanguine, ooh get to BDing straight away!! You just never know and you could be moving over to pg sooner than you thought!

How are you doing Sparkly? It's so hard not to obsess on clomid and I have felt ov type pains in both ovaries yesterday and today which can't be right?? I'm just trying to ignore the signs now and stick to my BDing plan every other day. I am also going to enjoy my weekend and even partake in a few glasses of wine. It's probably a little irresponsible but I'm trying to stay as relaxed as possible!! Trying!!

Rache, yay for getting back to good old BDing before it was BDing!! I know exactly what you mean about lying in all sorts of uncomfortable positions 'cos you think it will help those spermies! But hey, your DH has super sperm so you don't need to anyway! They probably leap tall buildings in a single bound!

Laujai, any sign of AF sweetie?

Can I also add that 7, 8, & 9 are very lucky numbers in Chinese culture!!

Have a lovely weekend ladies

It might be time to start a new thread, although perhaps we should wait for this thread to get to 6 pages (our lucky number at the moment) before switching lol.

I finally have news, although its not confirmed yet by a long shot - but i might finally be out of limbo - had some pinky brown blood when i just nipped to the loo, so praying it turns into full flow AF. Am very grateful to Laujai and Sparkly for joining this thread as am sure that there company is what made the difference lol. Keep your fingers crossed for me girlies - I want to see a full blown presence of HRH AF tomorrow!!!

Rach - am glad you are enjoying your bding with the focus being more on the love you share with your OH. Its lovely to hear! Sounds like you are really relaxed and ready for your imminent bfp - great news.

Sarah - enjoy your weekend away my lovely, and enjoy your bding - although in your case i want you very much focussed on BOTH the fun side and the bding side of things;) I expect lots of pma when you get back that you made a little miracle on your special weekend away. I'm sorry if this is my poor memory - is it for your birthday my love? If so happy birthday as well!

TBD - yay for drugs in the fridge! :) Sounds like its all working out perfectly for you. Like Sarah says, don't give up all hope for your miracle bfp yet, but either way you are on your road, so pma all round for you!

Sparkly and Laujai, I am afraid girlies you are going to have to dedicate yourselves a little more to this thread, we need far more regular updates on you, having to actually work will not be counted as an excuse!!! lol (jokes!!!). Seriously though how are you girls? Any OV symptoms Sparkly? Any sign of AF laujai? Hope you girls are ticking along ok.

Right I am off to pray and wish and hope and dream and everything that my little bit of spotting isnt just that, but the start of my naughty AF - please please please I will worship at the altar of AC and vitamins if it comes!!!!!!!

from your slightly loopy Sanguine

Hi girls

Firstly Sanguine I do apologise for not being on here more often LOL our computer has had a virus & I havent been able to get on, I think it may be fixed now although dont want to talk to soon!!!

Glad that you mite be out of limbo soon & hopefully HRH AF is soon on her way, I think she may be for me too as had a little brown cm today!!! Well keep our fingers crossed.

TBD that's great that you have all meds now hun & your not out the game yet hun but glad you have a great back up just in case!!! I also watched that C4 programme last night, very sad!!!

Oh feck my McAfee is not getting rid of this virus it's just popped up again!!!! Before I logged on it quarantined 3 items but now there back, what to do!!!

Rachie I love your attitude at the moment about not trying I have to say that it's the best method (worked for us).

Sarah that's great that ov should be on the way have a lovely weekend of bd'ing, is your bday this weekend??? happy birthday.

Hey Sparkly how are you hun?

I think that we could either start a new thread or re-name this one & call it our lucky thread, your right it is hard keeping up to date with so many pages but it may be lucky for us (im weird like that LOL) xxxx

Hey ladies,

Although I agree a new thread may be in order I have to agree with Laujai, this one feels lucky now and I don't think we should jinx it!! Are we all just supersticious loonies??! Ok, speak for myself....!

Rachie - must be so so nice to have a break from thinking about TTC. Sounds like it's doing you the world of good....and who knows maybe it will lead to good things! I'd rec the CD. It's based on acupuncture points and you have to focus on the relevant places while lying with eyes closed and tinkly music in the background. Split into 3 sections I think: pre-transfer; transfer and 2ww. 30 min sessions each. Obviously I've only listened on the first, which is a bit starnge because it talks about the womb preparing for the embryos and I keep imagining AF, which is not very relaxing!! But will be better when actually started drugs. I'll do you a deal....if my tx works you can have my CD!!

Sarah - optimisitc for me as ever - you're so sweet!! Have a fab weekend - it's a wedding you're going to isn't it? Bday around test day??? Hope DH enjoys your outfits you kinky madam!!! Re: the pain in both ovaries....I often get that too. I believe you can get pain around the ovaries at different stages....when follies are growing...liquid around them???.....when one (or two!!) become dominant...when they actually pop etc. So pain in ovaries is not a reliable indicator of WHEN you have ov'ed, but defo a good sign that you probably will soon. I always get a load of pain before (sorry tmi) big globs of EWCM....almost feels like it's being pushed out!!

Sanguine - hoo rah hoo ray.........so excited for you (in your words...how weird to be excited about someone elses bodily discharges!! But I am!). Actually feel a little dance coming on!!! Hope this is it and you have time to fit in a BFP before 2010... Keep us updated. Thanks also for the PMA sweetie.

Laujai - no excuses! It's just unacceptable!!! What a pain with the virus....I can't stand thhings like that. Have no advice I'm afraid. Hope it's AF for you too hon so you can get on with tests. Thanks also for the PMA...

AFM, nothing to report. Looking foward to a relaxing weekend before the mayhem of drugs, mood swings, getting to the clinic in London and anxiety..........but in the meantime, I am feeling pretty chilled really! xxx

Hi girls from a hungover Sparklyflump! Well I'm not too bad now actually. Was my 30th birthday party last night as its my birthday tomorrow (feel very old!).

Has AF arrived for you Sanguine? I had ov pains on Friday again. It seems my body keeps trying to ov but it just cant bloody do it. It will be 5 weeks on Saturday that I finished the clomid so I'm going to take some more norithisterone if I havent ovd by then.

How is everyone else doing? Hope you've all had a bding filled week!!!!

Hey Sparkly!! Glad you had a good night :-) and HAPPY BIRTHDAY for tomorrow!!!

How frustrating about ov.......although it's always hard to know for sure whether or not you have. Have you had other signs of ov? Do you not get to have a blood test? Must be so so annoying for you.

Well, I'm still waiting on the witch myself...but she is not far away. I'm sure she'll be here by tom morning. So then I can get started on drugs which basically make me go through the menopause...woohoo...not what I ever sexpecting to be doing at the age of 27 but hey ho....all for a good cause!

Hope you've all had fab weekends....mine has been a bit of a mixed bag as I've been really tense and arguing with hubbie quite a bit. But we've now agreed to start afresh and positive about starting IVF this week. So am back to positive visualisation of our little kiddies playing in the garden!! xxx

Hi Girls

Firstly Happy Birthday Sparkly.

Sparkly it must be so frustrating waiting for ov hun, can they not give you a scan too see if there are any follicles??

Hope everyone has had a good weekend, TBD glad you are feeling more positive & visualising your kids playing that's great.

I still have no AF!!! Last week I felt like she was gona arrive, im confused cause when I had the hcg bloods they said I had ov'ed so if thats the case were is AF, I did have a 3 day bleed when they were scanning me deciding what was going on in my uterus so not sure wether to take that as AF but I have been so grumpy the last few days it's unreal oh has noticed it too im just getting wound up at the slightest thing! Am def not pg as we have been careful although if we hadnt then i'd be thinking twice cause I get grumpy like this in early pg too!!!

Oh well hopefully she'll be along soon as not long to go till our appt!!! xxxx

Thank you!

Regarding the ov symptoms I've had EWCM for a few weeks now on and off. I dont get any blood tests or follicle tracking until next cycle so am tempted to increase my dose myself to 100mg as I think my body is still struggling on 50mg unless its just because its the first month and it needs time to get used to it *SIGH*

What are the drugs that you will be taking TBD? I must have missed you mention them.

Laujai I've given up waiting for AF! I dont think I'll ever see her again! All Ive had in over 101/2 months is brown blood after my lap & dye and a bit more brown when I took the norithisterone so I know how you feel.

Hallo girlies -

Had a mad day here so don't have much time to do my usual girl by girl reply, but just wanted to wish Sparkly a very very happy birthday, hope that you made a good wish!!!! I really hope that you have just missed OV symptoms and did actually ov - have you tested lately? I know its hard seeing bfn's but in your case definitely worth checking?
To everyone else - hi - hope you are getting on ok - TBD and Laujai hope the witch found you - (or a bfp in TBD's case?)...Hope Sarah enjoyed her weekend away, and hope that Rachie enjoyed a weekend of 'relaxed' and fun bd'ing!
As for me - still have a 'version' of AF. I think it must be the result of an anovulatory cycle? Its quite light and I've not had any real pms symptoms other than my sore nips/boobs for about 5 days before she arrived. Red blood though? Anyway prob tmi for a monday!
Love to you all anyway - did you see Mrs Hopeful is back - she could be lucky number 7?!!!!

Hi lovely ladies. Really sorry no real personals from me either. AF arrived early hours of this am. Mixture of emotions really...... But have started the down-reg sniffing today (nafarelin) and now feeling really nauseous and headachey :-( after only one dose! Have to take another dose now... and first scan tomorrow.

Sanguine - really pleased you have some version of an AF....at least you can get started with clomid now?? :-)

Laujai - that's weird about AF....worth testing just in case? Or are you sure there's no way? Does seem like you 2 are super fertile so maybe 1 little man could have found it's way up to your egg?

Sarah & Rachie - hugs to you both...hope you're both ok xxx

Sparkly - still no sign of ov?

xxxx Right got to go now...not sure whether to try to vomit or sniff drugs first??? What a lovely choice. xxx

Morning all,
This is going to have to be super quick as have got in work early for a meeting but I have prioritised you girls rather than preparing for the meeting!!!
Sparkly... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I am sorry this is late, but I hope you had a fab day.
Sanguine glad you hvae some verison of an AF...Is it now time to join the clomid party?
Lauraja... that is strange about AF, I know you have been careful but remember contraception is never 100%... it may be worth testing just to double check. Could that three day bleed have been your AF?
Sparkly... any ov symptoms?
TBD... How you feeling? How often do you need to sniff? I am sorry AF did come... but least you have a real exciting plan to start now. Hope DH is giving you lots of cuddles.
Sarah how are you sweetness?

Dont worry Laujai, a lot of us are waiting for her to arrive for one reason or another. Still dont think I ovd yet so just waiting until Sat when it will be 5 weeks after finishing the clomid and the sheet I got given from the gyane said to take another dose 4-5 after finishing if no af. I'll take the norithisterone first though to try and get af so no change here once again!

Hey ladies,

Rachie - bless you coming on first thing....I like your level of dedication!!! Hope the meeting went well. So what's going on with you at the moment? Anything happening? I found there was just NOTHING going on before our initial cons and then all of a sudden it was ALL GO!! make the most of the time to get your body and mind (and house) prepared....

Laujai - hope you get some answers about AF soon. Must be v annoying. I guess maybe it could have been a bit messed up from the mc? When is your appt hon? And when was the 3 day bleed? Hope poochy is well and not casuing too much havoc.

Sanguine and Sarah - where are youuuuuuuuuu???!!! Sarah, bet you're having too much fun bd'ing aren't you??!!

Sparkly - sorry to hear still noov / AF...not much I can say really sweetie, but hope something happens soon.

I went for my first scan today...I had 12 follicles already before starting stims so they were really pleased with that. They are worried I may overstimulate though (OHSS) so will be keeping me on a fairly low dose. I start stimming injections tomorrow!!! And another scan next week... It's all go. Am back to feeling excited now I've passed the next hurdle... xxx

Nothing is happening with my TBD... I am still waiting for my blood paper work... I have called the hospital this morning and left a message to check that it is on its way as I am getting impatient!
TBD I didn't realise that you had the 12 follicles even before the stimulation drugs... i am writing everything down to the protein shakes etc to know what to eat etc for when it comes round for me!
I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY have everything crossed for you. How are you feeling on the drugs???
That is so annoying about the AF... any sign? How is the pup?
Hi everyone... :)
