Subject : Hello i'm new on here and expecting twins!!
Hi everyone,
I am new to this site and was hoping maybe someone could give some advice....
I am 28wks pg with non-id twins and we have a 19mth old. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good - saloon car / people carrier which comfortable fits 3 car seats plus good boot size? We have seen a few models, but guessing recommendation if best!
Also, can anyone recommend a double pushchair, we will also need to buy the side seat clip on for our son - too small for a buggy board.
Any recommendayions would be great.:\)

Hi and weloome!
You must be due around the same time as me. i'm 28+1 with non-id twins (boy/girl) and have a 4 year old daughter.
We had to change our car in august to accomadate the twins car seat plus our daughters backed booster, not to mention tons of boot space.
we ended up going for the honda CRV which is massive and we have more than enough room for all the seats and the boot is huge- can fit double buggy and shopping etc.
We also looked at the FR-V but found the boot space small.
For a double pushchair we've gone for the icandy pear twin below:

and love it! Its no wider than a normal pram to you can fit through doors etc. My main reason for choosing this one was because you can just clip two maxi cosi car seats into the frame which seemed easy for when i was on my own. It adapt easy too with the carry cots and the seats for when their bigger which we also have.
There are a few on the market thou and i know other twin mums on here have gone for the "out-about-nipper" which is fab or the City one- its all personal choice!!
Sorry i've waffled on...
Hope u stick around everyone lovely and some1 will always be able to answer ur questions!!

ive got 9 month old boy and girls and a 2 1/2 year old boy,the pram we have gone for is a baby jogger city mini double and its brilliant, its very light and easy to push,i love it..... we havent upgraded our car yet but i think we are going for a audi q7,the car we have at the moment is a p-307 and it fits the double pram in and the single pram in the boot...

Hi and congratulations...
I have 11 month old non id boys and a 2 1/2 year old... My DH left when twins were 6 months so i'm now on a budget. I bought a Renault Grand Espace which is fabulous (apart from the new gear box i've had to buy!!!) Boot is HUGE!!! I can fit 2 double buggies, a single buggy and all my shopping!!!
I have also bought the ABC Design Zoom, which I can highly recommend, its not cheap but its fantastic...
Good luck...

I have the icandy pear and love it! It's not cheap but great to steer and great combo's with the car seats and normal seats. It fits in my 3 door Corsa boot too! Only disadvantage is it's heavy to lift. My girls are 4 months now :-) Congrats! x
