Is there too much pressure on new mums to lose baby weight?

hi im recently new myself and have a 2yr old son rio.

my little sister had a heart murmour and was later found to have a hole in her heart. the doctors said it was a small hole and should close by itself (which it did thankfully) she was also found to have three chambers in her heart where as everyone else has two, but said this wouldnt affect her. i know how worried you must be but please try not to think the worst. my mum did this and nearly drove herself into the ground thinking of surgery and such. you need to try and take every day as it comes. (easier said than done i know)

but i wish you all the best and have my fingers crossed for you xxx

I had an old school friend who had a hole in her heart, which never closed sadly. She has never been affected by it to be honest, never stopped her doing anything: partys hard, jetset round the world, drank, ate, smoked everything - you'd never know!

I haven't any personal experience of hole in the heart but as a teacher have come across children with them and as the other posts have said they live normal lives.

Re nursery fees £650 sounds great! At my daughter's nursery a full month is £915. Luckily Darcy doesn't go full time and we also get a term time only discount otherwise we would never be able to afford it!
