Is there too much pressure on new mums to lose baby weight?

Subject : I tested... BFN

Hi ladies,
I decided to bring POAS day forward one day and tested this morning.

I used a FR and got a BFN. Absolutely no sign of AF still, not even any pre-spotting which I usually get from CD27-CD29. Maybe it was a bit early to test, or maybe we've just not done it this month. TBH, I would have though a FR would have picked any hcg up. I'm a wee bit disappointed, but feel better than I thought I would. Maybe it's because there's still a bit of hope hanging in the air (or maybe it's becuase it's Friday!). I was quite suprised at the BFN as my symptoms this month have been textbook...

I'm on CD30 today. Last cycles have been 29 and 30 days, so would expect AF tomorrow, but only on month 2, so maybe things are still settling down. Not sure when I ovd - poss CD18/19.

Will test again Monday if AF doesn't indicate she's on her way over the weekend.
WhateeeEver!

Much love
Tipi

Thanks girls. And thanks minieggs for the SD test advice :-)

Wilma - it might not be over yet, but I'm trying to take a leaf out of your book and be practical about it all. We'll see how it goes...

Definitely not over yet hun, but there's a lot to be said for not getting your hopes up. I know it's difficult because we want this so bad, but for all i know this could take months, if not years and i dont think my heart could take being stomped on every time. So practical it is - tho more than willing to be proved wrong!!

Having said that, i very much hope its just a little early for you and by Monday yr shy bean is ready to show itself :)

Xx
