Subject : Crawling at last!!!! (Also posted in Baby)

Well Lucy is 1 next Wednesday and she has finally decided to get off her backside and crawl! I'm so so so so so so proud of her! She did it for the first time on Monday and i'm not sure she knew what was going on as i clapped and cuddled her so much she hardly got the chance to practice her new skill.

In the days since she's not really gotten up to much mischief, she's more contented at the moment sitting reading her books. But i'm sure once she gains speed, she'll be into everything.

Laura and a very clever Lucy xxx

hip hip hooray Lucy! just in time for her birthday as well :)

you'll be amazed how quickly she gets up to speed, Harry used to do a funny 'sprint' crawl with his head down for extra speed when he wanted to get somewhere quick - only roblem was he would often 'sprint' stright into the nearest wall or the dog!

Thanks girls! I'm so proud of her it's unreal, anything she learns makes her the cleverest little girl in the world in my eyes. It doesn't matter what it is (or how late she is) x

She's such a book worm Keri-Anne, i am too so i'm super pleased. She sits for ages looking at the pictures and pointing. She's been known to read them upside down more often than not, but hey ho! She's not as keen on us reading them too her, she wants to get in and turn the pages herself! She has so many books, and i've joined her up to the library, a young starter!!! x
