hoping that I slot back into a nice 28 day cycle, i should be starting TTC xmas week!!!!! arrrgh, well that shouldn't be too difficult, with all the festivities! So if i fall pregnant when I should ov around 21st Dec, EDD would be 13th Sept - I think?

mustBmad - sounds like me! Totally spooky. On paper I should ov from the 28th December so our new year celebrations will be very private this year ;\)
although still hoping that I will be able to start trying right at the start of December. Crossing all parts of my body today for a no-show on the old af!

hi! i havent come on this bit of the forum before, i havent been on for ages! but tonight me and oh spoke about ttc no 2 - i told him ii wanted to by text this afternoon so he could get his head round it before we talked!

He want another one as well but is worried (me too) about money ! i have no idea how we would manage financially but i just feel like ii want to try anyway, is that stupid/bonkers/both?

We havent decided exactly when to start trying, but Jan/Feb is looking likely. Im so excited! Pssibly go for the casual approach but i might not be able to resist the ov sticks, they worked a treat last time :)

Im no spring chicken so dont want to wait any longer, and ds has just turned one so would be a good age gap.

reading through your posts tho, you guys sound dead organised! i hve no idea when i woujld ovulate! and i was so shocked when first ttc i found out you can only get pg like, one day each month!

watchin jeremy kyle on mat leave you would never think it was so hard to get pg!

and I totally get the txt to OH tp "plant the seed" that is what I do to mine!! Also if I know that I need to bring something up that may result in us being a bit pee'd off with each other I will email him!
So either we resolve it quickly as we get to think about the issue and resolve it, so by time we get home we are happy again. :)

My af is awol! I mentioned on this thread before that we'd had a slight incident around my ov time- I doubted I could be pg but I did two internet cheapie tests which showed lines which I am pretty sure are evaps line- I reckon I have a dud batch of tests... but now af is late too I can't help but wonder...I am getting a branded test today and keep you posted...

HI ladies

Well hubby seems to be wavering on the whole "we can't have a July/August baby". He thinks we should try during the July birth window (ie week after next!!!!!), stop trying the following cycle, then start again.

But personally, I think we should just start trying now (mainly cos I am so flaming broody!) and not stop. If anything, I think we should try DURING the August EDD window, cos I would be due around the 28th/29th August and as all the babies I know have been born way passed their EDD we would most likely end up with our September baby anyhow. Based on my theory, if I fell pregnant this cycle my EDD would be around the 25th ish of July, so we could end up with an August baby (not that I'm worried about that!).

What do you girls think? Hope I've not confused everyone with my ramblings!

PS Loving the whole emailing/texting sensitive news to the other half - I may try doing that with my theory on EDD's and TTC!

Well, looks like we will be ttc a little earlier than I originally thought we would. Hubby and I had another heart to heart about when to start trying, and it looks like we will start trying after my next af. So, feeling very pleased with that!

It's very nearly November - winter is practically here! Hooray!!

I will be, not sure if its going to be the start of nove or the end/start of dec yet! I have af at the moment, so might be this cycle or might be the next one- so will be after november af...not sure, I have been having a huge wobble with one thing or another- but have given myself a huge talking to and hopefully got sorted what I needed to. The good news is DH is up for starting whenever so...I shall let you know!!

Hi Winter Gang 5 weeks till UPSI/TTC for us - I have a question hubby and I are going to London for the weekend 19-21 Feb to see DD and also to see all the wonderful sights as have not been before to see them all properly. If I happen to get pregnant in month 1 or 2 will I still physically feel ok to go or will I be absolutely exhausted trailing around London.

Sorry for sounding a bit thick but am just wondering if we need to re think ttc because we have something planned or do I just say sod it and go for it? x

Lol- It is sooo hard waiting- especially when you arent on the pill either.... I'm literally counting down the days in my dairy!!
Im nearly finishing my AF now so will ttc in November- was going to wait for Novembers AF BUT just CANT wait any longer..... I have got a long cycle as well has been 40days and 38 days!!

I think I'm going to be last of the winter gang to start tcc, I'm january. Would love to start dec but dd was an august baby so wouldn't want her to be overshadowed by the newborn. She asked me the other day if she could have a wee sister, hang on while I place my order, if only!! Roll on next year xx
