Hi Ladies,
Well...I'm definately due to ov- hugely positive opk today so lastnight we went for it
S'n'S it's funny you should say that about the full moon because I thought of that myself yesterday- my little boy was looking through the window and he suddenely said 'Look mummy, there's a big circle in the sky!' bless him! Are you using opks hun?
I've added all the dates on- December too SD, just for you:D Check out your patience hun! Speaking of patience I have changed my testing date now...as I'm ovulating earlier I will test earlier and there's no point pretending otherwise!! Lol!

Thanks for adding my dates Charlie_Chalk.
I know it's far too early to know one way or the other but I am 99% sure I'm definately not pregnant as I don't feel we BD'd as much as we could of which really frustrates me - here was I thinking you only had to have sex once to get PG! haha.

Hey winter gang - anyone else obsessively counting down the days until December? I am getting sooooooooo excited!
Charlie_chalk we are ttc in December, but at the moment I feel like I would be jinxing myself if I add my name to your list, hope you don't mind!
Snuggling down in my new slippers as we speak, recounting the number of days until ttc, just in case it's changed!

I'm really having a bother convincing hubby that January is a good time to start trying, its so frustrating. I wish my hubby could be as broody as me. I just can't understand why he keeps stalling. So annoying!!!

MrsFancyShoes this time last year hubby got really broody all his mates had started to have kids and the thing that topped it off he watched children in need and looked at me and said he wanted to try for a baby. IT was 9 months before our wedding so I told him I wouldnt be able to get in my dress if we ttc then but we decided as soon as the honeymoon was over I would come off the pill.
If we see any of our friends with babys/toddlers now he is the first one picking up the baby (inc new borns and running around with the kids) He was even asked to be godfather in September and is very proud of his godson.
Maybe get hubby to watch Children in need thats what did it for mine. He is more broody then me xx

All hubby's mates have got kids and small babies, he likes kids just not keen on babies, I think they make him nervous!! We already have dd who is 5 (his step dd) but even then she was a toddler when we met not a baby. He is a fab daddy to her so I can't understand why he can't wait to have another :(

CC I kind of spoke to hubby last night. He just says that we aren't ready and that we need to concentrate on working to afford this new house, so basically it all comes down to £££. It has been a really busy stressful year with the wedding and now buying a house and moving. So I'm hoping next year when things have returned to some kind of normality that he will relax about it all. I think I'll just have to back off oh a bit about tcc, it makes me feel crap though thinking I'll need to put off tcc AGAIN!! xx

Hi all I feel the same as moon and stars but we've had a bit of bad news - hubby is back out of work again and none on the horizon now till mid Jan. Am soo peeved right now I dont know what to do with myself and it was only the other nite we agreed to start from beg Dec and now am thinking I will have to put it off till Feb but the thought is killing me inside. Especially when so many people say it could take 6 months or longer to get pregnant - tried drumming this into dh head but all I get back is yeah but it could just take the one time!!! Argh..................rant over!!
Ladies thank you for your patience and understanding xx

If it makes you feel any better Sparkly, my hubby is the same. He is convinced that his little swimmers are so powerful that he could knock me up just by looking at me!
You could always try using this to your advantage.....you are BOUND to get pregnant in December and by the time he is in work again (end of Jan) you will only be a couple of months pregnant (tell him 8 weeks as for some reason this sounds less) - you won't show, no one will know you are up the duff and it will mean that when he starts his new job, which is always stressful, he won't have the added pressure of having to bd at every given opportunity.
That sort of logic would probably work on my other half - would it work for yours? Good luck with it!

Thank you moon and stars but hubby is self employed so hes only estimated to go back to work mid Jan last xmas he was out of work 3 months and we were getting married in May, luckily we still got married in May gone but it was a hard fight and do you know when something just knows everything out of you well thats how i feel about our wedding. It was a amazing and we loved every minute of it and I had everything I wanted but it really took the wind out of both of us financially and emotionally.
Hubby has said today he is ready to have a baby but he is just frightened that i would be pregnant first time and then we only have 9 months to get sorted out. I can understand that but I am on the other scale, I am frightened it will end up being a long boring chore getting pregnant and it could take years.............maybe am a bit selfish for thinking that way but I dont want trying to get pregnant to change things for us until we hold our little bean in our arms. xx

OMG CC, can't believe you are on the 2ww!! Good luck!!
Well on Friday night hubby and I had a (somewhat drunken) heart to heart, lol. He says he wants to tcc next year and that once we are in the new house there is nothing to stop us!! This is such abig step forward for us so as you may have guessed, I am very, very, very pleased. I'm not going to pester him about it, I'm going to wait until January when we are settled and the house is in a liveable condition before mentioning it again. As I don't want to harass him now he has said yes, like i have been the last few months.
SD, sorry to hear about your hubbys work, things will work out fine, just you wait and see. xx
