Subject : The Winter gang!!!!UPDATED- Add your November /Dec dates!!!!

Hello Ladies!

Calling any of you ladies who are starting to TTC in the coming winter...please join the winter TTC gang!! Roll up roll up!!

I am looking at starting TTC again in December- possibly January, but with my broodiness at the moment then we are probably more likely December!

So girls...any buddys? What kind of dates are we looking at? Are you going casual upsi or all guns blazing?!

For anyone who doesn't know I am TTC number 3- already have a little boy who'll be 4 in April and just started nursery school and a daughter who's 2- she will be at least 3 when potentional number 3 comes along. I'm married and am 28 next week.

Looking forward to chatting and counting down with you...:\)

Hellooo!
We are going to be TTC from the beginning of December. We are going for the works as we are in our 30's so don't want to leave it too much to chance. This would be our first and we got married in June!!!

Hello, me too!! We are going to start trying from mid december, trying to be relaxed about it though as don't want to get obsessed too quickly too soon (even though we most probably will) it will be our first baby.

woop woop for the ttc buddies!

Katielou I think I remember you from YAYW? I got married in May. I had a different username over there though I was joy2008.

Yay HD! How are you hunny? Sounds like you had a fabulous time on your lovely trip away.

Ladies, it can't be long now till December because there are christmas things in the shops!

We shall be relaxed upsi'ing. We actually started TTC in Aug after upsi'ing for a few months before that and I had a chemical pregnancy. I used OPK's then, I am tempted to again because my cycles have been all over the place. There are normally on the longer side but this month it was only 22 days!!! I am not letting myself though, not at first anyway. It is way to easy to get hooked and I get to the point were I am barely weeing when it isn't on a stick!

Hello, please can I join the winter gang?!!

I got married in August, and me and hubby are going to start casually ttc in January. I am 25, and this will be baby number 1! I am being very naughty as I am starting a 2 year course through work this month and if we are lucky I won't be able to finish it Embarassed

So, even though it would be sensible to wait, I don't feel like waiting!! Smile

Can't wait to get to know you all a bit more!

Hi Ladies!

Magpie- I am the same as you- I don't feel like waiting either and everyone thinks I am mad with two such young children. But, my youngest will be at least 3 if we are lucky enough to be blessed with a 3rd- which isn't a small age gap at all really. I don't blame you for not being 'sensible', life is too short Smile

Apple Jack- is that your lo on your avtar? He is gorgeous!

SD- A christmas conception would be really nice. I love Christmas. I'm really excited this year as my kids are the age now where they really understand and get excited. It'll be here before you know it Smile

yes Charlie Chalk.. I have popped over from YAYW.. I still go on there but keep my head down. It's much friendlier over here! My poor husband is scared I will get obsessed and I'm really going to try not to but I think at 34 with PCOS I don't really want to be keeping things too casual!

Thanks Charlie Chalk, it's really nice to have support from people on here! Good on you, I think it is lovely having your children close together, I am very close in age to my brother and I loved that growing up!

Hiya,
Im ttc in november for baby #3, I have a daughter thats 5yrs and a son thats 2yrs.
My freinds keep saying Im mad as I have one of each...they say why rock the boat! But to me it doesnt matter I would like a bigger family....
I only have to hear a baby cry or see a bump- it makes me soooo broody, every times like the first-so exciting I cant wait!
I wonder how long it will take this time?

Yay Shay! A winter buddy and a number 3 buddy Smile

People say to me the same as you hun, they don't understand it if you have one of each- which to me is odd, it has nothing to do with what sex of my kids- I just can't wait to have another little one and complete our family.

Is your eldest at school? My ds (my eldest) is at nursery school which is afternoons. If we try in december it means that he will be in full time school by the time #3 comes along even if we are lucky enough to catch straight away. My dd will be 3 as well- so hopefully a bit more independant.

xxxxx

I know its funny how some people think that a boy and a girl makes a family complete! lol
I have always said I would like 3/4 children- but will need to see what its like with 3 first- may change my mind!! lol

Do you mind me asking how long it took you to conceive with your first 2?

My daughter is in school she is in year 1 now- she was 5 in july- so one of the younger ones.... and by the time #3 comes along my son will be at pre-school so I will get time alone with baby....
We have similar age gaps- I agree with you about waitng untill they are more independent- makes it so much easier for you and most importantly for them....

Shay- of course I don't mind. It took about 7 months with my son- but to be honest we weren't 'actively' ttc. We didn't do any opks or charting or anything, we just stopped contraception and that was that! I really liked doing it that way though there was no pressure.

My daughter, it took one time without contraception!! We had a one off upsi incident and I was pg! We really weren't expecting it, especially as it had taken a while the first time. It was a bit of a shock, but so glad now that she came along when she did. She was obviously very determined!

Then we started ttc in August and I got a BFP first month again...but it wasn't to be and I got negative tests a few days later so it was most likely a chemical pregnancy.

Now we're ready to go again december all being well and I am not sure what to expect with how long it's going to take...time will tell I suppose!

Are you going to ttc casually or chart and temp etc if you don't mind me asking hun?
xxx

After a little soul searching, Hubby and I are going to start trying some point before the end of the year.

Been married 10 years and one week, and we are both 31. I don't want to wait much longer for baby number one.

And to think, I spent most of my twenties telling people I didn't want kids!

Charlie chalk-
I was very very lucky with my 2- I conceived in the first month with both- I was expecting it to take a while, and we just kept it casual- no charting or temp tbh Im not too sure how all that works! lol is your temp higher around ovulation?
I wont take it for granted that it will happen as quick this time tho- like you say time will tell.... so excited- cant wait! xx
