Subject : 27wks and really scared now
Hi i have made it to 27 weeks yay!!
But really scared now. had really bad back pain past two days and the pain killers are making me really tired and tearful.
I am scared of what is going to go wrong this time and i am fed up with the docs not listening to me .
Trying to put a brave face on things for oh and the children and my family but really just wanna sit and cry all the time this cannot be normal lol.
Sorry for the moaning

my little girl was born at 28+3 weeks and was in NICU for 7 weeks. i had a very traumatic labour that ended in emergency c section. My second son was also born by emergency c at 32 weeks following a cord prolapse and my older son was born at 34 weeks.
i think the not knowing when she will be born is really getting to me now. Each baby has been earlier than the last so I'm pleased to get this far.
The consultant wrote a plan of action including regular scans and hospital appts, as well as urine tests as i suffer bad kidney infections during pregnancy. my care hasnt been great and despite having kidney pain the doc wants to wait for the results of my last urine test before giving me antibiotics. i've been given more strong pain killers instead which cant be good for her.
sorry once again for the rant

aww so sorry. you must be worried sick not knowing when the little one might come. my daughter was born at 26 weeks and was in the nnu for 16 weeks so your little girl did really well.
did the drs say if there was anything they could do to stop the baby coming early? i guess complete bedrest is out of the question!
it is completely normal to be worried and tearful. it must be really hard trying to stay positive but i am thinking of you and wishing you all the best :)

Hey Maria, sorry your feeling a bit stressed but its no wonder after all youv been through with your last pregnancies. Glad your getting regular scans and tests, your doctor will be waiting for the result of your urine sample to check your on the right antibiotics, infections need specific ones and the result can tell which one to take, no point taking the wrong ones as they wont help.
Im keeping everything crossed for you and sending lots of superglue.

if nothings happened by next sat then i will have broken the cycle yayy
and elise will be the earliest born. the longer I can keep going the shorter the time in NICU with a bit of luck.

Hi there
glad to hear you still holding on to little one.
You must be so scared of it all happening again.
I cannot beleive after last time that you are not getting the right treatment this time. Its a disgrace.
I hope you keep well and that baby gets to 30 weeks as, like you say, it is less time in SCBU... all the best..
