Subject : Flexible working whilst being a SAHM for only £25.....

Hello,

If there are any stay at home mums who have considered doing work and taking their children with them, Usborne may be the answer. I was very sceptical myself but decided to give it a go as I knew I had nothing to lose. I planned to do it as a hobby but I do it more part time as I love it. For Nocember its only £25 (normally £38) for £100 worth of stock. It is the perfect time to start working for Usborne as people will be looking to purchase Usborne books for gifts this Christmas.

I love my Usborne business as it means I can take my daughter with me (free child care) , its really flexible so I can work whenever I like. You can have 3 months holiday or you can work for 3 months. People work, seasonal, part time, fullt time or just to earn that extra bit of cash when they need it.

Unlike other direct selling business, customers for Usborne include anybody from any walk of life. People of all ages will buy Usborne books, whether its for a family member, friend, pupil or client. Usborne books caters for children from birth to 16 years of age, to suit their educational needs, so there is something for every child. Even with the current financial situation, people are willing to pay for books as it enhances a childs education.

If you would like more information please drop me an email and I can provide with more details about becoming an Usborne Representative. if you ahve any questions, please dont hesitate to ask :) xxx

as in wher can I potentially sell my Usborne books to.....heres a list to get you started :)

There are also so many places you can sell at: toddler groups, baby clinics, leisure centres, soft play areas, ballet, football, gymnastic classes, childrens centres, day nurseries, tumble tots, massage groups, libraries, charity events, church fayres, brownies, rainbows, guides, scouts (etc), open days, pamper evenings, music groups, offices - can leave a box of books or just the catalogue), home parties etc. You can also drop the catalogue at friends and family places of work.

You can also sell books to schools and nurseries who can also hold a sponsered read organsied by Usborne. For the sponsered event, the sponser money is used by the school to purchase books etc.

Anything else, please just ask :) x

I'm quite interested too - could use some extra pennies for xmas!
As you're self employed though, do you have to do tax returns and pay ni contributions and all that other stuff? I'm already self employed and don't know if i could face doing more tax returns!

hi MrsC06, sorry only just seen your post.
Yes you do ahve to do tax returns, but as you can do it online now I ahve been informed its literally only a couple of boxes and the computer does the calculations for you. I started at the beginning of this tax yr so I havent done it yet. If you joined my team you would ahve access to a private forum for the division. If you have a problems or difficulties theres bound to be someone on there who can answer any questions regarding tax returns.

Yes you could earn some extra pennies for Christmas. This month its only £25 and the starter kit is based on Christmas so you are bound to sell you books (least £80 worth of books) by Christmas. When you palce orders you also get free books which you can use for your family or for your stock.
Drop me a line to joey_2777@hotmail.co.uk and I can send you some more information if you are interested. Chances are next month the starter kit will go back to full price. xxx
