Subject : Anyone else with a toddler still have pnd?

My son is now 23 months old (almost 2!) & I still have pnd. Since Ive been moving homes & are now in one we hope to stay in for a long time Ive finally began getting some proper stable help.
I know I still have it but since going for as assesment appointment they are saying its just "basic" depression and low self esteem.
Im on the waiting list for therapy but Im beginning to wond
er wether to give anti depressants another go as the physical effects from depression are hard to cope with. What I wanted to ask was, when does it stop being pnd and start being "basic" depression? It started when I was pregnant so its been almost 3 years :\(
Can anyone recommend any anti depressants? Ive been on peroxotine (most recent and made me a nervous, shaking wreck - horrible!) citropram(sp?) these made me feel so sick and dizzy for 2 weeks before promptly coming off them. I know I should have given them a chance but feeling sick and dizzy on top of being so lethargic I can hardly get up and going most days, plus feeling low and stressed is so much to cope with.

i taken citalopram for over a month and they made me feel like shit i was always tierd and dizzy , i always felt like i had pnd but tbh i think most of it is phsycological ie not bein able to socialise like u used to and feelin down about urself wether its weight gain or change of looks or wotever , im pregnant with my 3rd child and do have odd days where i feel down but i wouldnt say it was pnd its just lacking in confidence an low self esteem since having my other children , maybe its ur baby does he sleep well for u cuz my 2 yr old was a naughty baby and hardly ever slept and thats y i was always tierd etc then started crying to random ppl like midwife health visitors and they seem to think i was depressed so i tried the medication and they actually make u worse so try not to go down that road and just talk 2 someone take care x
