Subject : BFP @ 39 and a half

Hello everyone,

I havent been on here in ages but thought I would just post that we got a BFP this morningn on CB digital.

I think must be about 6 weeks. We already have baby Zara who is 17 months and it took us 13 months of trying to conceive her. This little baby is a miracle as I was diagnosed with Graves Disease (Hyperthyroidism) in Feb and chances of ovulating and conceiving are very slim with Graves especially at almost 40 so we are very lucky.

Good luck to all ttc,

A very happy
Debbie, Zara and Bean (6wks)Smile

Hi Ladies, and thanks for your kind wishes.

I do feel extremely lucky to have not only our gorgeous baby girl but now bean no 2 at 39 and a half.

Kirsten, we are truly lucky. I was really concerned that having developed Graves this would completely end our chances of that last little baby but thankfully we got pregnant without even really trying.

Cosmicgirl, good luck to you for the birth. I went to 40 + 15 with Zara before I gave in and was induced, so am keeping my fingers crossed for a natural birth this time.

I do consider myself extremely blessed to be a mummy again and am looking forward to getting to the 12 week scan and for everything to go well.
