Hi
I showed a lot quicker with my 2nd I am due next week and feel alot bigger, The midwife said this generally does happen and sometimes lower from the start as your muscles are already knackered from your 1st pregnancy.

I feel like I have been pregnant for years and starting to get fed up now

Even thought I've been through it all before I still wonder what to expect and wonder how long it will be till something happens. Saw MW today and she said baby's head is well down as she can only feel the shoulders but can't say whether or not it will be sooner rather than later.

I have had backache for a week she said I could be in slow labour.

I cant wait to feel the baby move, Plus its a good way of involving my son, so he feels part of it too!

Its neither mine or my partners first pregnancy, but we are both so excited! Can't wait for my next scan to see how much its grown! I'll probably be huge my then!

But on a plus note, surely birth will be easier second time round??

I've heard that 2nd labours are a lot quicker my friend just had her baby (2nd) and said it was a lot easier and quicker.
I'm hoping it comes during the week rather than weekend so it doesn't disrupt my lo's routine to much while i'm in hospital.

Hi!

I did show a little earlier (16 weeks), but more to the point I felt Baby move soooo much earlier it freaked me out a bit!!! 15 weeks!! last baby I didn't feel movement until at least 22 weeks.

My bump is completely different this time, its a football! so I dont look pregnant at all unless you see my bump! which is great! last time I was bigger all over but I did definately eat more last time as well!! I did tear last time as well, so I'm hoping as things are more 'stretched' down there that I dont tear again!.

I had a friend whos first labour was 6 hours, her second was 1.5 hours! My first was 7 hours so I'm preying for a quicker one this time! although I'm scared to death as the quicker the labour... the stronger the contractions obviously are to expel the baby faster! so more pain!!

I have heard that second labours are more painful adn you get more pain afterwards as your uterus conntracts. Not sure if thats true though! and I spose we are all different!

Hi, I am also 13 weeks and already cant fit any of my clothes and wearing maternity jeans!! As with alot of people did not show for 20 weeks with first...! Am quite glad tho and keep sticking it out hoping people will notice, but think others just think I am a little flabby!!!
Is it true most second babies are bigger when born?

I really hope that second babies arent bigger as my first was 8lbs 8 oz, OUCH!!!

Labour seems a long way off though!

15 weeks today, and still despite looking pregnant and not gaining any weight! not sure where this belly is coming from!!

I'm so glad there are a few of you who are similar to me! Everytime i see my mum she informs me how much bigger i am second time round despite the fact I actually exercise this time, still running!

But proudmummy07 you right, its nice to actually look pregnant rather than just look like you've eaten too many pies!

Stacey

22 weeks.
