My eldest son J who will be 4 in Oct askd to have pants on in bed. I had tried before but with no success so decided to leave it for a bit. Our routine has been:

7.30pm - last drink
7.45pm - bath
8.15 - story then wee
8.30 - bed

I go to bed around 12am and take him to the loo then again when I get up with the baby (4-5am) and he has been really good with only a few accidents. Last night I put him to bed as usual but fell asleep on the sofa myself so when my OH shoved me up to bed I completely forgot about poor J. Well at 4.15am I remembered, fully expecting a wet bed and a soggy J I was surprised to find eveything bone dry!! He had gone all night bless him. I dont know if he took himself to the toilet or not but I decided to leave him and when he got up at just before 7.30 he was still dry. Im so proud!! :D

Thanx ladies xx

I left him all night again last night and he was dry. Do you think I should just leave him in the night now?

Have you been leaving him in the night now? Sounds like he's ready for it. How's he doing now?
