When we conceived LO we BD every other day in the week around OV day. This is cos I thought I'd read somewhere that it wasn't good for conception chances if you BD every day???? What do other people think/what are your experiences?

i think BD every other day AND on ov day

i've heard conflicting things about diluting sperm with every day BUT i think the biggest problem of doing it every day is that you can end up turning it into a chore and stress is not conducive to conceiving

of course if you both just want to BD every day because you're loving it and in the mood then i doubt there's any harm to it

Hi, every other day did the trick for our two boys. I'd heard you decrease sperm levels by BD every day, so not as many get released in one go, plus every day would be too much for us and turn it into a chore xx

We'd all end up walking like John Wayne too!! lol!

tee hee John Wayne. OH keeps telling me he read in the paper that bding every day keeps your sperm healthy. I think hes just using this as a way to try and get it everyday though as he knows how obsessed I am about tcc. LOL

MFS - your hubby is right to some extent
i read that you shouldn't leave it too long as "stored-up" sperm becomes old and less fertile - although every day is a bit of overkill imo :lol:
the article i read simply said you shouldn't try to "save up" sperm for one or two attempts around ov as the sperm might not be so fertile - so best to have regular s£x throughout the month - even at times when you aren't likely to get pregnant

we were every day for the week over ov! And we got Max from it so will do the same this time around!

ye this is confusing me too.
some say every other day but i read in Pregnancy & Birth yesterday to do it every day. so i think whatever you feel best with
